One side of the product is supposed to have adhesive on one side so you can bound it to a surface. ALL, ALL, every single one of them have not had adhesive. No one cares to make it right. It's easy to cut and easy to work with. It seems roVa sells this product both with and without an adhesive backing. I went with "sticker type" which I took to mean adhesive, but the adhesive is so weak as to be useless.
