The day I got home after the installation, the rear cam dropped down. Don't know what kind of adhesive I could use. I messaged them thru Amazon. The next day they got back to me with such an answer telling me to screw it on to the windshield or screw it on top of the license plate. OK. I finally got it glued back to the back window. Then I found out the rear cam doesn't work anymore. On trying to troubleshoot how to make it work, I found out the date was wrong and couldn't be made up to date. Tried to find info on how to change the date, without any success. The manual only provides minimal info as to what the function is for. I tried the website listed in the tiny instruction manual before and found that it was a bogus one. The seller's rep said a new one is under construction thru Amazon message. There are different functions, only if they can show you how to work then this can be a good product, otherwise, it is just a sham! I am sure I may discover more functions that are there but will not work if I ever reach a point that I have to use them.One more, I tried to retrieve/play back a file. What I could find is only the folder and there is no file in the DCIM folder at all. What is this dash cam for? It just defeated the purpose.Can someone tell me how to change the date? How to make the rear view cam works? How to make it record? The only good thing is the front view is pretty clear. That is it!UPDATE ON MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: Customer service is up to par. I wish they could have a better instructions to users. Now I am willing to give them 3 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great system. Could use a couple of non-fatal improvements *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2019* I like the simplicity, quality, and easy installation. The image is good, both front and back. Needs 2 improvements:1. The camera to mirror/display wiring should be in 2 pieces (small watertight hard rubber inline connector) a few feet from the camera. This would allow installation of the wire once, with a later replacement of the camera without disturbing the wiring. Also, it would be easier to install if only the inline connector (being about the size of the wire) were all that needed to be threaded from outside on the bumper to inside the vehicle, and not the right angle connector to the mirror.2. The instruction booklet talks about a 30 second time-out of the display, but the minimum is actually 1 minute. It wouldn't hurt to include the a 5-30 second time-out, with the proviso that the monitor not time out if the car is in reverse.Note: It is VERY good that the display defaults to the last set display, specifically that if rear view were the last set, then the display will start up again in rear view.With this default, and since it is necessary anyway to turn off the display by touching the button under the mirror if one wants it to turn off the display (restoring the mirror function) before the set timeout, it's really not necessary to even wire the reverse signal. In other words, the display starts up in rear view, and it either times out or is turned-off by the button under the mirror went the backing-up is done.Not bad, but I would still like to see a back-up priority setting: The display is off until the car is in reverse.
