DANGEROUS!!!
I set up the Stanley Forced Air Heater (60,000 BTU) and it works great! HOWEVER, it is extremely dangerous to use due to the fact that it aims horizontally not slightly up like most other manufacturers. In my shop, I have linoleum floors like many machine shops have. Twelve inches in front of the heater it MELTED the linoleum! Being a good fix-it guy I mounted some 1" rubber feet on the front (discharge end) of the heater base. It now points slightly up and works perfectly. STANLEY I highly recommend you do the same so you don't get sued for fires that your heater sets.

Works well
All I did was connect the gas line and plug it in, turned it on, sparked the igniter and it was working. This was a lot quieter than I expected and you can stand in front of it and not get scorched. My double garage was 42 degrees and after 1 hour, the temp was 70 degrees. The second time I turned it on at 4:30 PM, I totally forgot and woke up at 2:30 AM, went out and the blower was still running, the propane tank was empty, I shut it off. My garage was over 50 degrees, I am thrilled to know I can have that happen and still be safe. That will not happen again.

Few problems.
First I couldnt get it to stay running. Then I noticed a wire on the inside that came loose. Which I fixed and it fired right up. The next time it wouldn't start again. And I noticed the sparker wasn't making spark. I bent it closer and was abe to ge a weak spark. Tho its almost easier to light with my torch. But this is only day one. Will update if I have more problems with solutions.

BADASS!!!
I have a gym in my garage and when it gets really cold out I use my 2 space heaters. But when the temperature drops below 20 I can't work out. A buddy of mine told me about this type of heater. I was sceptical at first but decided to buy one. I should have bought one years ago. I let run for 20 minutes and my gym was nice and toasty. Very pleased with unit.

More China junk
Worked great last season but a piece of crap this year. Not made by Stanley, made by some other company that has it made in China and rebrands it to a Stanley, DeWalt, etc. More China junk. Still using my Colman stove, made in America back when we knew how to make things, still using it 25 years later. Buythe extended warranty, you’ll need it.

Keeps me warm at an inexpensive price
Okay so I just got this thing today and I set it up and man this thing belts out heat the only way to control temperature it is by using the valve on the propane tank but that is okay I suppose the fan is super quiet but moves are very well the unit is Welly constructedand the outside does not get hot to the touch which is very nice overall that have to say this is a great purchase this will help me out in my shop to keep me warm when I'm working on my car which is exactly what I wanted and it is not a very expensive unit fortunately propane is not expensive either at the moment I would highly recommend this item just make sure you have adequate ventilation it is very easy to set up I put it together in like 5 minutes I'm very thrilled to add this to my collection of heaters definitely keep me warm while I finish working on my truck now that winter has rolled in

I love it
This heater is awesome. It is so much quieter then I thought it would be. It doesnt make my garage smell like propane. I did go buy a carbon monoxide alarm, it hasn't made it go off. I'm surprised how small it actually was. The only con I can see is there isn't a control to change heat amount.

Stopped working, impossible to return
Not actually made by Stanley. Is made by a company that Dewalt licences the Stanley name to. Found this out because I it stopped working just after Amazon's 30 day and am now trying to track down the manufacturer. First call to amazon gave me a wrong number, that gave me another wrong number, that gave me another wrong number. Second contact with amazon gave me a number that sent me to a physical dewalt location who told me they dont make it and they have people coming in all the time with this problem. Third contact with amazon was basically its not their problem, its mine.

Returned
Came broken. Seems fan and motor assembly is heavier than the base it’s connected to. Not much insulation/ protection in the packing.
