FoxFury420-006 Command 20 LED Firefighter Helmet Light with 1" Silicone Strap, 72 Lumens

I'm a volunteer firefighter and I first learned about this light because a couple guys on my department had this light. I saw how bright and nice it was and I knew I had to have it. The light is really nice for building searches and overhaul, instead of having to use a light that is clipped onto your coat. This light shines where you look making it very nice. It has three modes of brightness and even the lowest one is pretty bright! I have been using it for awhile now and one of the only complaints I have about it is the button to turn the light on and off is just somewhat small for when you have structural firefighting gloves on but it works. I have heard from other fire fighters that the light will melt, I haven't experienced this but I haven't been up against any big scale fires since I got this light. I like how it has a blinking red light in the back, it is just one more safety measure for when you are on the highway at night. Overall I love this light and it has made my life a lot easier.

I am very satisfied with this product. As a Fire Fighter, this light is perfect for use on the scene. The light has three different setting for brightness. The light works very well inside a building full of smoke, or outside during nighttime operations. On the backside of the battery pack is a blinking red light. This light is very useful as it allows a person to see you is very low light situations. This is a great light to use on my traditional helmet. It's easy to mount and use with structure gloves on. The flashing indicator is great for interior attacks and letting the backup know where I'm at. The only problem and reason for the 3 stars is the light bar and button melted abbot on the first structure fire I took it into. It still worked, but it is now hard to turn on. I've used it for over a year on MVAs and fires and it's held up. I just worked a commercial fire where the sprinklers were running, the the light must of shorted out. It kept going on and off, even after changing batteries. Would like a more gear proof housing.

This head lamp is amazing. I do a lot of work in the middle of the night as a utility lineman. It lights up my work area very well even on the lowest setting. It is so easy to mount on a hard hat, and stays put, no siding around or moving. Battery life is very good, I used it everynight for a week, about 4-5 hours a night, and finally had to change the batteries the last night of work. It is a little heavy for a hard hat, but within a couple of minutes you do not even notice it. Other lineman have seen it and have ordered it for themselves. I love it, I would highly recommend it.

Bought years ago and forgot to write a review. I loved it! Used it on every night time call. Came in handy especially on wrecks to be hands free. Of course no light is going to shine THROUGH smoke in a house fire but it did help with up close visibility.

Super light.... The light is a little thick thru the body and wont fit narrow rim helmets..... If the light was designed ti fit inside the mounting frame instead of on the front of the frame it wouldn't take up some much space for mounting... However, still a great light... The Fire Chief just purchased a dozen similar lights.....

My son is using this daily with Norfolk Fire Department. He likes it and his buds ask him where he got it.
