The meat and cheese were actually pretty good. I received Gouda and cheddar with a summer sausage. I just wanted this for the charcuterie board. So the food items was a bonus..It's small but perfect for 3-4 people girls night was a hit!!!

This is a good buy here. Great taste and will definitely buy again soon and will make a great gift.

Small (2-4oz...) samples as typical of such "gift sets" and probably disappointing to those that remember the old Hickory Farms (guess what Boomer? When you insist on minimum selling price, maximum stock dividends, and tax-free offshore production, you flush quality down the toilet...) The cutting board and knife are serviceable and SNAP eligible so with 36% off it's almost affordable for those of us who saw our living wage jobs/careers offshored by Vulture Capitalist Boomers... Most of the food is fair to good except the nasty Cumin... Err... "cheese" straws which taste like a bad generic chili (you know, the kind that is heavy on cumin to hide stale/spoiled/third-rate ingredients...)

Extremely disappointed. Pictures show variety but that's not what I received. Not as shown in either photo at the time of purchase.No olivesNo cookies - nothing sweet!No teaNo chocolate squaresNo pretzelsNo almondsNo cheese straws, etc.No mini cleaverMissing 8th item! Included 1 sausage, 1 nut mix, 2 cheeses , 2 of the same cracker boxes, and 1 mini mustard.Small wooden bamboo board came with small cheese knife to be used for spreadable cheese.I should have received 2 different items for variety instead of doubling up on the cheese and crackers, so I am highly disappointed by this. So basically its sausage, cheese, crackers with mini bag of mixed nuts and miniature mustard.I would not reorder this again due to the lack of variety. I understand that items may run out at the time they are assembled but instead of doubling up on one item, include other alternatives for variety sake.I will update this review after food items have been taste-tested.

So i've read some negative comments before I ordered it but there were many positive ones too and i was hoping its either personal preference or just occasional mess ups. It looks nice - I got board, little knife for soft cheeses, few cheeses, pretzels, mix nuts, sausage and box of crackers, and mustard jar. The nuts were expired so i didn't try them, the box of crackers were empty like it was posted before - glued but fully empty. there were no olives like some people posted they got. and maybe crackers were not suppose to come because they added few cheeses - one bigger brick and two little triangles. the little knife has no usage bc its meant to spread cheese as it doesn't have part that cuts. The big knife that they advertise it suppose to come with wasn't there. Here is where things go wrong - cheeses and sausages are not expired but after opening them they taste sour and terrible. It only would happened when the product is not kept in normal temperature. Yes it's sealed and doesn't need refrigeration but it still needs to be held within a reasonable temperature. I guess it wasn't maintained in appropriate temperature. It's pretty serious in my opinion, as it's health hazard. I gave one star.
