Pensa in Italiano! Think in Italian! Carte 1-50

For its price (free) this was worth downloading. I had studied Italian intensively before going to Italy 13 years ago but not done much with it since. The time leading up to my trip this year was very busy so, while I knew I should do something to refresh my language skills, I put it off until just before leaving (I may have even downloaded this at the airport). The exercises get you started (they encourage you to buy a more extensive language course afterward) but to get the most out of them you need to go to the link they give you to download the audio files, and I of course only discovered this once I was airborne on the 9-hour flight to Europe. The fact that it has you start by reading everything in Italian worked for me because I am still able to read Italian reasonably well; if you're really beginning they also include English language instructions a little later on.

It's a little difficult to get the downloadable audio linked with the video. Impossible on my Kindle 3, but possible on my Kindle for iPad and Kindle for Mac. The audio is worth the trouble, because you get pronunciation of full sentences, so nice for a beginner. A nice adjunct for someone wanting to learn a smattering of Italian.

Well done (especially the section with sinonyms), but just a bit short and just for beginners. I wish there were more phrases and would pay more than 1$ for it. For $1 is a good deal if you are doing your first teps in Italian.

Clever little collection of flashcards in Italian! However, they are instantly intelligible only to those who already speak/read Spanish and/or French. The method works, however, once a speaker has mastered the meanings of the flashcards

I like the flash card routine. I have gone through the cards a couple of times. I have no one to test my Italian as I prepare for a trip in the near future.

Hate is a rather strong word but I would rate it a 1/5 in any case. This is potentially not a problem with the material so much as the we that Kindle for Windows 8 works. If you have not tried it, it works very poorly. This is especially true when it comes to the integrated sound feature that should be at the center of this system. It is just plain broken on the Win8 Kindle app.Shortly after I purchased this, I installed a free app that works much, much better.

It was less advanced than I needed, but would be helpful if one is just starting to learn Italian. I read it once and probably won't read it again

i just learn italian right now so i can tell this ebook is okay, but i don't finish it. plus the audio help me so much

Having downloaded the free audio that goes with the book, I found it interesting and simple to use and helpful with thinking in Italian very easy to use and understand. Mainly for beginners of Italian, or a revision for advanced students.

Not the best Italian language book I've read, the drawings didn't, in my opinion add anything to the text. I think it's an extra resources for learners of the language but not one I'd recommend as the sole source.

It's one of the things I've never found the time to do, to try and learn another language, as this was free, and I'm now retired thought I would give it a go.

Along with other audio tapes to help with pronunciation, I am beginning to assimilate a few words of the Italian language.

I can't get it to work - must be something I am doing wrong. Going to Italy - thought this would be good to have on my kindle.
