Mr. LongArm 1002 ProDesign Window Washing System

Needed this to wash down high ceilings before painting. Works well and is of good sturdy construction.

If you already own a threaded pole (they are used with painting and other products) you will find this easy to attach. I found the squeegee to be fairly sturdy, and remained in the clamp while cleaning. The cleaning pad also worked quite well.

Very easy and intuitive to use. I was able to use this with my Mr. Long Arm 3212 Pro-Pole Extension Pole, 6-to-12-Feet, no problem it fits perfectly. Cleaned a window about 15 feet high. My only issue is the rubber thing on the squeegee very easily falls off. I'll have to be careful when i use it. Otherwise no issues. I'll need to buy some glass cleaner to use with this too. 4 stars because the rubber thing falls out easily.

Save yourself the time and effort of getting out the ladder to scrub your outdoor windows and purchase this item along with the Mr. Long arm pole. It's also relieving to not use a half a roll of paper towels with cleaning the windows one time. There's a guy in my neighborhood that cleans the windows on several houses and I've actually been told that my windows look cleaner than the ones he does and that's his full-time job. Prior to purchasing this item, I've never clean windows with a squeegee and this item makes it very easy.

Unfortunately I'm not nearly as fond of this kit as some others. I haven't had many dealings with other kits to really compare the overall quality of the materials but this kit has very frustrating flaws. First and foremost it should include 2 (TWO) claws or whatever the piece that holds the squeegee/cleaning bar. This is very frustrating to have to switch them out every time, especially when trying to clean 2+ story windows and by the time you're done fumbling with it the window is half dry. The cleaning bar goes in 1 way but fits the other way and looks nearly identical, it just won't stay in if inserted the wrong direction and you don't find out about it until you're scrubbing again and it pops off. Again, if you had one dedicated to each the squeegee and the cleaning bar you wouldn't have to constantly be switching them. Another reviewer mentioned the squeegee blade constantly slipping out which I agree with. Another item that fits both ways and isn't obvious but the clamp holds it in place in the correct position. I also had to buy a pack of Smart-Lok adapters (threaded) to fit my proprietary Mr. LongArm pole already owned. Also, it's nice the head swivels BUT if cleaning tall windows you have to tighten it down to not swivel as the head if very heavy when loaded with water and just flops over. I spent 2-3 times the amount of time cleaning my windows due to constantly having to switch stuff around.. Very frustrating and I'm guessing it's by design to get you to purchase another kit to counter this frustration which really aggravates me.Edited to add that the cleaning mop always gets in the way when trying to reclamp the bar so it ends up getting pinched a lot which just creates more fumbling around with it. Sure you could remove the mop each time which just costs more time and messing with something that shouldn't need this much attention. INCLUDE A SECOND ARM/CLAMP!!

For God's sake buy the double package headset. Changing from wash to squeegee is a pain. But be careful, after my first day of washing as I was picking up my tools, I dropped the squeegee head into a bucket of water and the holder snapped in half. That was like $30 some odd dollars for five windows. Why is it always cheap plastic crap? I must amend my review to state that this is absolutely the worst product that I have ever purchased from Amazon. Assuming that my first squeegee holder only had a casting flaw, I purchased another ($33.00) holder. I did one window and it worked fine. I laid it on my deck and when I came out the next morning, it was laying there, broken in the same hinge point as the first. I have no outdoor pets and my children moved out years ago. I suppose the morning Sun did it. So now I am at $66.00 for six windows. Pretty damn spendy. Personally, I find it criminal to sell a substandard product such as this for such a ridiculous price. I gladly pay premium for a quality product but this one is absurd. Both Mr. Long Arm and Amazon should be ashamed of themselves. I wish that I had more words to express my disappointment and disgust.

This window cleaner attachment will fit universal threaded poles. Took a chance because I could not find this information but so happy that I did. It works with the telescoping pole I purchased 10 years ago. Great purchase. Works good. Will purchase again.

Love this product! I have a window that is 20 feet up and was impossible to reach. This product enabled me to clean the window perfectly.

Wasn't happy with the threaded connection. I would work with a broom but not an extended paint stick
