EqualPACKETS 50( 2 PACK )

First, let me say that I know that artificial sweeteners have been in the news a lot lately as not being good for you. I understand this, have read many of the articles, and choose to use it anyway -- I would rather have a zero calorie sweetener than consume the calories in sugar (I also don't like the feeling of sugar on my teeth from drinking sweet things). This is something you'll have to read about and decide for yourself, though.I have lately become obsessed with Crio Bru, which is hot cocoa you brew in a coffee maker. But some varieties of Crio Bru are very, very bitter. So I have been adding a couple of packets of Equal to sweeten it up a bit. I am already used to the aspartame taste since I had previously been drinking a lot of diet soda (which I had to cut back due to acid reflux).I like this very much. Two packets are just the right amount for me to take the bitter edge off my brewed cocoa -- it tricks me into thinking I'm drinking real hot chocolate (with all the calories). I may try to reduce my usage to one packet at some point in the future. Also, this dissolves easily in hot beverages and doesn't leave any residue. And the package size is about enough for me for a couple of weeks to a month (no need for me to get 1000 packets at once, since I live alone).

I was very disappointed in the plain plastic bag it came in! No Box as I’m used to. I ordered 2 boxes and didn’t even get the equivalent of one!

Looks, tastes like sugar. Artificial sweeteners are supposed to be bad for you: but, as a diabetic, I’d rather take my chances on this rather than the known evils of real sugar. I use the Equal packets on my oatmeal every morning. I came to know about the product while in the hospital recently: it came with my meals.

Price was good, but a few of the packets were open. I'm assuming these are "seconds"

The Equal was not incased in original box as advertised. Product was loose in a package. I dont use products not secure in original containers. Dont purchase this product.
