This clamp worked well for adapting a Manfrotto 3030 pan head quick release plate to ARCA Swiss.It has extra threaded holes already tapped in it that flank the larger center hole; it's pretty easy to drill out the Manfrotto QR plate to match those and then run cap screws up from below into this clamp. That gives three points of attachment with the Manfrotto QR plate (super secure).There are adapters that go directly from the Manfrotto QR system to an ARCA clamp, but they only work well with ball heads. With the 3030 (or other) pan heads, those adapters are turned 90 degrees in the wrong direction to use with the cages and L-Brackets I have on my mirrorless and DSLR cameras.This clamp was the least expensive solution to convert my pan head to use the ARCA standard. The little cover on the end of the tightening knob looks slightly cheesy but it's otherwise well-finished and nice quality. Grips ARCA plates tightly.

Seems to be well made and holds several brands of Acra Swiss style plates
large plate that holds a 7D mkII with a 100-40 and a 2x extender. No idea of the safe weight and they do not post it. The main faults that I found are no safety pin to back up the screw clamp and mine did not come with a screw to connect to the ballhead. Fortunately, I was replacing the clamp on and old Vanguard sbh100 and was able to use the screw from it.

Seems t be of very good quality
I use this on a rifle tripod. So far it has performed well. Was surprised that the single screw holds so well.to the tripod

This well made! I have no regrets buying this Arca Swiss style clamp. This does not come with a mounting plate. It feels heavy duty, it is easy to use, the clamp seems heavy duty enough to handle a 40" boom arm, plus my camera, the lens, and any counter weights I might use for stability mounted to it (still to be tested). I also like the bubble level on the clamp, it allows me to level the head and my tripod before mounting the camera or boom arm to my tripod. And so far it has worked with my other Arca style mounting plates with out any fitment problems.

Quality Arca Quick Release Clamp
I have purchased several of these CAVIX CL-70N 70mm Quick Release Clamps and very happy with them. Build quality is very good. They are strong and dependable.
