Every few years I buy a new scooper for cleaning up my dog's business in the back yard. I try to get the best bang for my buck and this buy fit the bill perfectly. The price point was awesome. The construction good quality (although you will have to snap the two parts together out of the box, they fit easy and snug) two springs close the jaws with a snap. The length is good. I am 5'11" and I do not need to bend much at all. The previous review seemed concerned with the bags, but I have never used the little plastic bags with my scooper, I just us an old paper bag while I clean up. The little plastic ones are nice to take on walks but I don't take the scooper with me when I do.

This one is a little longer and easier to use. I liked the open tooth design for cleaning.

It’s difficult to put the poo bags into the scoop because of the length and type of handle. I think this designed with large dogs in mind because If you use it without a bag small pieces may fall through holes as it doesn’t seal entirely.Even with these small problems I would still recommend this product because it does do the job and is a reasonable price.

Came broken but I was able to glue it. Works ok now

I've only used it once and it seems sturdy. Picks up easily except what is soft and sunk down in grass. Bags supplied are small and slip off too easily. Probably easier to use a store bag.

It came in two pieces, and never really snapped together. It kept coming apart while trying to use it. The springs weren't working and I didn't get to use it for more than one mess. Don't waste your money. You will only wind up frustrated.

If my animal, cat or dog, has loose stool, the scooper just smears it and doesn't pick it up

It works great! We love having it and it makes it so easy to pick up our dogs poop anytime of the day.
