Great product! The battery in my Mac book pro expanded pushing the track pad out. I thought I was going to need to go to the apple store and pay for them to replace it. Or have to buy a new Mac book. I decided to try to replace the battery on my own. It was incredibly easy to install and saved me a lot of money with not having to purchase a new Mac book. I thought the track pad was going to be broken forever after the old battery expanded and made it stick up. But, that is back to working as well!

This battery appeared to be good. It installed easily. I followed all of the instructions. From the off it got hot when charging, would randomly shut down, did not wake from sleep properly, and now it will even finish booting. It has a battery problem code in the computer when I use internet diagnostics. While it might not have cost as much as taking it to Apple I would have paid much more to have a product that didn’t randomly shut off from sleep or prevent me turning the computer on even when plugged up.

Edit: So the seller reached out to me after my review. They shipped me a new battery as quickly as they could (shipping for a while was spotty with COVID-19 in june). Used the new battery for a few weeks now and definitely better life than the original one I received. Great customer service. They will do what they can to make their customers happy. Would definitely recommend.So bought this like new battery. Opened up box to find that one of the screw tabs was broken off. Installed anyways because it would be held tight by cover anyways. After using battery for a few weeks and following the recommendation on charging the battery life is as bad as the one it replaced. About an hour screen time then my battery low warning pops up. Ordering new from a better supplier with a better warranty. No worth paying to send it back.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that I adore and still use. I noticed one day that my battery had swollen and displaced my TouchPad. I panicked and slowly opened the laptop and carefully removed the battery and replaced it. My MacBook came back to life and I was able to position the TouchPad to its original place and have been pleased as punch ever since. No fuss, no muss replacement and I'm back in business! Highly recommended...

I was glad to be able to replace the batter in my mac, and this worked well. It was inexpensive, which helped and it had the tools needed to remove the bottom and the battery as well. Still working well, ) would do this again. It's not as easy to do as some Windows PC batteries, but with care it was easy to extract the old battery and replace it with this new one.

I had bought a new battery from another seller about a year ago and it didn't seem to last much longer than the one I replaced (about 1-1/2 hours) and it only lasted a year before I got the 'service recommended' warning so I bought another from the same seller and it had the 'service recommended' warning immediately so I returned it and bought from this seller. This battery is like the original, I'm getting 3-4 hours out of it. By todays standards that's not much but for a 2012 MBP it's excellent.
