Quiet, lightweight and capable light duty trimmer
I put this thing to the test on some pretty tough areas including milkweed plants, cane and vines. I don't know if it's the single line or low rpm but it is a little lacking in power. That said, it's obviously not intended to be a power monster and it handled everything I threw at it, you just have to slow down over what you might be used to. The head swivels with stepping on the guard and pulling or pushing the handle. This is great for attacking at different angles to avoid flowers and obstacles. Also it's low power was actually beneficial in that it didn't damage fencing or siding etc. Both batteries at full charge drained in less than an hour. It takes a few 5o charge one fully so the use one/charge one mentality advertised will require a couple more batteries for any sizeable work. At 3/4 acre it took me 3 days to fully trim everywhere I needed to but it was also pretty overgrown at that time. The string advance pauses the motor and only advances the string about 1/2" at a time. It's convenient but a constant feed or a longer ount per feed would be nice. The unit is very lightweight and the batteries are small and light. The trigger mechanisms seem a little flimsy and I suspect if any problem arises it will be from them. The edging function works but at 6'1" I have to bend over slightly to utilize the rollers which will kill your back after any time. In areas where I walked along a curb and could utilize it for height it was much easier. The thin string however is a little anemic for the types of plants edging normally involves (thicker vines and weeds/stems). I plan on replacing the line with some higher quality line that I hope will improve performance. The grip that keeps the shaft from turning from regular mode to edger is weak and I had to reset it several times either because I didn't hit the detent or it slipped out.Overall I'm very happy with this trimmer as a light duty trimmer to use for routine lawn maintenance. I have an older trimmer I'm going to keep for anything heavy duty or in areas that grown up too much to make this viable. I plan on looking at some other work equipment for the battery sharing option. At it's price point if I get 5 years from it I'll be more than satisfied and not having to pull a rip cord or mess with gas is well worth it. Additionally it's super quiet which is nice and makes lawn work less annoying.

wheeks are very convenient
the wheels make this very convenient to edge consistently. also being battery operated, I could immediately get to work. the power of this is less than my corded weed trimmer, but I found that I did not need all that power. what I didn't like was the small gauge string which inconveniently broke often. I ditched the string and installed a zip tie instead which was infinitely more superior to string which is a pain to refill.

Buying returned/used/refurbished items are a gamble...and I lost! 😭
The media could not be loaded. This was my first time buying a used/refurbished item from Amazon. I recently purchased a brand new WORKS edger/trimmer, but it was stolen after only one use.😭 I wasn't going to spend another $130, so I saw a good deal for a used, older model for $60. 🥳 When I opened the box, it was still dirty from someone's grass/weeds.😱 There is no way anybody inspected this or reconditioned it, cleaned it up or anything!!!😡 No instructions, and no extra trimmer spools, most importantly...NO WHEELS!!! 🤦😭 I specifically bought this model so I can use it as an edger also...without the wheels, it's just a weed eater!😠 Now I have to contact Amazon and figure out what to do and see if they can send me the WHEELS!!! 🤔 After this bad experience, I don't think I'll buy any used or refurbished item ever again...I suggest you spend the extra money for NEW items only! 😎👍BTW... the tool is a good thing to have around...when it's all there!😄

Once again with feeling….
This item was purchased to replace an identical item that went belly up this summer. The previous device was about three years old. It suddenly decided to only run for about five seconds at a time. Spin, quit, wait a few seconds, run again for five seconds, repeat. Not sure what the issue was. With a gas model you clean the float bowl and needle valve. With an electric you do what, replace a diode or capacitor? So, not wanting to replace the expensive part again, the batteries, I decided to try a refurbished device sans battery. Stay tuned. So far, so good. It runs.

Very weak
I'm very disappointed in this Worx grass trimmer. It has no power, battery is very weak. I do not recommend this Worx product line.

Repacement
I already had one of these but I accidentally backed over it with my truck and broke the motor case and the shield. Since I had the batteries and charger, this was a good option for me. Unit was like brand new, and I guess I’ll keep the old unit as a backup or for spare parts if I need them. The old unit will still work as a weedeater but not as an edger; even after being run over by a truck.

Incomplete, unverified order
The weed eater, though reconditioned, was expected to have all necessary parts in order to operate it as advertised and in a safe manner. However, it was delivered with several parts missing:1. The Safety Guard was missing2. The Flower Guard was missing3. The Edger Wheel was missing4. The line Cutter was missing (part of the safety guard)5. The advertised second battery was missingThere was no hard-copy instructions included and the online instructions lacked information. For example, no information on how to charge the batteries (how long, what visual display alerts the user the battery is fully charged, etc.).
