I was a bit sceptical about how well a 10 quid window repair kit was going to be, and I was in two minds as to trying this or going through the insurance company for a repair - so I decided to try this rather than potentially ending up with a £200 excess if Autoglass couldn't repair the chip and had to replace the windscreen (£200 excess ffs! - Admiral BTW). I am very impressed with how well it worked and how easy it was to do; I ended up repairing three small old chips as well as the one I bought the kit to repair. My main chip was a 'bullseye' about the size of 5 pence piece, with fine radiating, tendril-like cracks about 5mm in length. The repair took less than 15 minutes and afterwards the damage is barely noticable; the cracks are gone and the only visible imperfection is a 1mm opaque spot. In summary: Easy to use. Quick. Cheap. Good results - to be fair, the damage to my windscreen occured four months ago and the kit does say best results are achieved if the repair is attemped immediately after the damage. Can be used more than once - you get 5 curing strips, but I cut them in half for my smaller chips. Will 100% buy this again (if I get more chips and the suff I've saved runs out).

Product was excellent , with clear instructions ,and it was at the right price , I would remind anyone using this to do it in a well ventilated area

Followed the instructions to the letter. Started with a "star" on my windscreen and finished with a "star". Couldn't see any difference at all. Have used different products before which use a different method of delivery which have worked. Will now need to buy one of them. My recommendation - do not buy this product.

Happy with the contents of the kit, has everything you need to prep the area and then clean it off. Don't even need scissors to cut the resin because of the razor blade. Instructions seemed easy enough to follow however I assume there was a manufacturing defect with my applicator, or I should have tried driving it all the way through the mount before starting. As can be seen in the last two photos the thread mount is off centre, despite trying to line it up several times I could not get it straight. This meant that when pressed all the way to the windscreen it is hard to get even contact because it's at an angle and it became very difficult to get enough grip to tighten it. Still it seemed to do a decent job despite not lining very well. I was worried with the last step of scraping off the excess as there was a lot of resin, however it comes off easily enough after a few minutes. Probably worth a punt if you don't mind spending a tenner to just try it.

I had about a 9 inch crack appear at the top and in the middle of my windscreen. I contacted my insurance company who told me it would be 6 days before it could be replaced. After 24 hours the crack had spread and was now approximately 12 inch long. I need to use my vehicle daily and so after reading previous reviews I decided to give this product a whirl and was not disappointed. I followed the instructions and in a very short time the crack was repaired. The damage is hardly visible now and more importantly the crack has not spread any further.

So here we go. I purchased after reading some positive reviews. Always trying to save money where I can. So I have a small chip in my front screen and it has sort of slightly longer lines coming from the chip. Not too long and also it was a recent chip. I follow the instructions and put the suction cups to the screen and then slowly and carefully start to tighten the screw down onto the windscreen. I can see the tip and watch it carefully, this is a doddle, I start to think, "ooh the money and hassle I am saving is going through my mind". Then as the tip touches the windscreen to my shock 2 very large cracks appear about 7 inches away from the little chip. Here I am now from a small chip to a mess. The wife is saying from the house window "how's it going love" Oh lovely", I reply. If only she knew!! So I quickly fill the hole with the glue and then I run glue into the now long cracks, but when looking on the inside it is a mess. I have to admit defeat and I had to, in the end, pay for a brand new windscreen. Some of it on insurance. My moral to my tale is to leave these sort of things to those that do it for a job and have trained to do it. You might think you are saving, but in the end, it could cost you more than it is worth. Good luck if you go ahead and purchase. My intention here is not to say the product is not fit for purpose, just my story of using it.

To start off my dislikes of the product, I thought the instructions contained within the product were hard to understand and required a bit of thinking about what to do and how to do it. Also i thought the rubber seal was a bit small and to larger chips/cracks it would be difficult to seal. However, that is a small dislike into what i found to be an excellent product very easy to set up and with a bit of mechanical thinking was very easy to use, had a small crack on the passenger side of the car and when time is taken to prep and apply the product the results are solid, the crack is still there however but unless someone is told that there is one I don't think anyone will see it. overall would recommend this product to anyone!

Brilliant little kit for fixing a group of chips on a windshield, won't do quite as good a job at filling the crack as those which create a vacuum but comes with an ample amount of resin for clearing up and stopping several smaller chips spreading.

Ich schreibe normalerweise keine Bewertungen, aber in diesem Fall sollte es erwähnt werden. Ich war sehr skeptisch, da ich einen ca. 6 mm großen Steiinschlag in der Windschutzscheibe hatte. Und bevor ich 400 € in den Tausch der Scheibe bei einem 17 Jahre alten Auto investiere habe ich es damit probiert. Die Anwendung ist einfach, Halterung positionieren und mit den 4 Saugnäpfen befestigen, die Resinkammer einschrauben, Harz einfüllen und mit dem Einschrauben des Stössels wird das Harz in den Steinschlag gepresst. Danach noch einmal Harz nachgefüllt und die Sache war perfekt. Dann wird die Halterung einfach demontiert, noch ein Tropfen Harz auf die Scheibe und die beigelegte Folie drüber, damit die Oberfläche versiegelt wird. Ich habe zusätzlich noch eine kleine UV Licht Lampe mitbestellt um das Harz auszuhärten, da Ende November das Sonnenlicht nicht mehr ausreicht, um das Harz zu härten. Ich habe zur Sicherheit 15 Minuten bestrahlt, wahrscheinlich hätte auch schon weniger gereicht. Zum Schluss Folie abziehen und mit der beigelegten Rasierklinge das überschüssige Harz abkratzen. Wer nicht weiss, wo der Steinschlag war, wird ihn auch nicht finden. Die Anleitung ist zwar auf Englisch aber selbst wenn man kein Englisch kann, reichen die Bilder aus. Fazit: Trotz dem geringen Preis ein tolles Produkt.

Hatte 2 kleine Steinschläge mit tiefgehendem Riss. Konnte beide mit dem Kit im Winter behandeln. Ganz wichtig: 1. Die Scheibe und das Mittel muss warm sein. 2. Nicht zu fest Anziehen! Ich habe einfach nach einer Fahrt das Auto mit Heizung angelassen und ebenfalls von außen vorsichtig mit einem einstellbaren Fön die Scheibe warmgehalten (Winter..). Dann die Prozedur durchgeführt und mit einer UV-Lampe ausgehärtet. Ebenfalls Vorsicht beim Anziehen der Abdichtvorrichtung. Ich hatte erst zu fest angezogen und ein Riss hat sich langsam verbreitert (von 0,5cm auf 1cm). Hier dann einfach vorsichtig nach und nach Lösen bis der Riss das wandern aufhört. Wenn man nicht genau aufpasst kann man so die Scheibe weiter schädigen oder auch zerstören. Die Oberfläche selbst wurde leider nicht klar bei mir. Hier muss nachpoliert werden. Dafür gibt es extra Mittel.. Wenn das noch dabei wäre, wäre es ein 5-Sterner.

Jeder, der eine Menge Geld sparen will ist hier genau richtig! Ich habe das Set 2x gekauft. Einmal für meinen 10 Jahre alten Golf. Hier ist es ein gute und zeitwertgerechte Instandsetzung die für den TÜV reichen muss. Zum Zweiten für den Passat meiner Frau. Bei diesem läuft das Leasing bald aus und der Zustand muss bei der Rückgabe natürlich stimmen. Pro: + Günstig, es kostet ja eigentlich nix. + Einfach zu benutzen, jeder der ein Handy bedienen kann wird das Set richig anwenden können. + Es dauert weiniger als 20 Minuten. + Das Ergebnis ist sehr gut. Contra: - Die Anleitung ist in Englisch, aber es gibt auf youtube auch Anleitungen auf deutsch. Ich hoffe meine kleine Rezension hat euch bei der Kaufentscheidung geholfen. Nachtrag, mit die Firma geschrieben, als Entschuldigung das meine Windschutzscheibe gerissen ist, bieten wieder den selber Produkt zu schicken kostenlos 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ ich überlasse euch ob ihr kaufen wollt *** Nach eine Stunde nach den Reparatur sprung fur den ganze Scheibe und kann jetzt tauschen 😠😠😠 Finger weg *** Trotz Video Einleitung, eine schade gleich geblieben, eine sogar grosser geworden 😐

Preis ist i.o. es bleiben nach der Anwendung milchige Rückstände bei gefüllten Stelle. Kann am ersten Versuch liegen 😁 Reicht aber zum versiegeln aus damit der riss nicht größer wird. Dennoch muss die Scheibe gewechselt werden. Als erste Hilfe für Reisen aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
