I have made several cakes from this book. Friends and family have already raved about each cake I have made. They are always excited to see which cake I have made to try at every family event. They are easy to follow directions and don’t call for a lot of extra ingredients. Tbh if you didn’t tell people you used this specific book they would assume it was made from scratch.

Arrived quickly and in good shape

This book has so many delicious recipes....Birthday Cakes, Coffee Cakes, Bundt Cakes, Desserts, Breads....Even some with ice cream filling! I haven't even made it through all of the recipes yet (there are so many I would be eating far too much cake if I had :) but I can't wait to try every single one. Using cake mix as a starter shortens the preparation time and ensures all of the recipes turn out so moist! (Who wants dry coffee cake? :p) And the results don't taste like they came straight out of a box. Some favorites so far: Hawaiian Sunset Cake, Cinnamon Apple Coffee Cake & Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls. Delicious!

Get this book. Seriously. It is filled with quick and easy cake recipes (they begin with a cake mix). Each recipe is a dessert table star. This is the kind of publication that one might expect from Taste of Home, quality photos of every single recipe.I cook for crowds each week and I need desserts that look fussy but really aren't. This book helps meet that need. I get lots of rave reviews and multiple requests for the recipe each time I make a cake from it. Fun book. Great value.

This was a gift to my daughter that states she can't bake. I have the same one with marked pages and hand written notes that I copied for her. She loves it!

I got this cookbook as a present last Christmas. I am not usually one to use cake mixes, but I looked through it and found some recipes that looked yummy. I have tried some recipes and I look forward to making more.Now I am buying a copy for my mom for Christmas so she can try some to without having to take my cookbook 350 miles away to her house.

This is a great book to have when you need to whip up a dessert fast. I love the fact that all the recipes has a picture, which makes it easyer to pick one. Plus the best thing of all is that all the recipes starts with a mix! I always have a cake mix in my pantry so instead of a boring cake I can be creative with this book. Buy it you will not regret it!

I purchased this book for my Grandma who loves to bake. She also likes easy recipes that start with a mix so this was perfect. She has used many of the recipes from here and she is a big Taste of Home fan. Great gift for baker's that do not have a lot of time, or who like to keep things simple.

Recipes are not complex and pictures are great.
