great price fit was good as name brand

The part is orrect per manual, but it comes with the incorrect shaft. I ordered a compatible one DC97-15491A becasue the shaft looks the same, and the measurements are the same as the original.don't know what happened there, but that was my experience. I'm sure its not the sellers issue, they dont' put it together, but wherever it comes from, it didn't work for my washer.

Product fits perfect. Sure saved us the $1200 for the replacement washer, or the several hundred it may have cost for a repairman. Replacement bolts for arm, gasket for tub, and boot for door/tub interface must be ordered separately, and replaced when you do this job. The replacement bolts (purchased separately) had lock-tite on them already, so you don’t need to worry about it. This high-quality replacement is meant to have sacrificial properties. That means it’s a less noble metal (the arms, not the spindle) than the stainless-steel wash tub, so DO NOT paint it.Photos show how bad the electrolysis and corrosion was; the spindle had come apart from the arms! (Tub quit spinning, E3 code)Cleared codes, Everything back together and works fine now.

When I received the part the box it came in was in perfect condition but the threads on the shaft were damaged. I had to use a tap and die set to fix it because I couldn't wait for another replacement part.

About 6-8 hours equivalent of work and I saved about $750 from not having to buy a new washer!I had to also get a new bearing rubber washer and bolts, avaiable from Amazon. Had to take the whole washer apart to replace this one part. Cleaned the mess left by the last broken part. Reassembled and everything works almost like new! Watched video from Youtube and now I'm an "expert", Haha!

Fit was perfect. Washer is fixed!

Working so far, this one if you need the one that female nut goes on the end. Unfortunately I know this part will fail again.
