FONDX Edible Glue, Clear, 2 fl oz

The truth is, we never eat our gingerbread houses, so I wonder why I thought I had to buy this product. It does work well; however, I discovered some glues work better for the larger pieces. It deserves four stars if you want to eat your final product!

The glue did a very fine job of holding together the pieces as placed - it did not take much. It helps to use the body parts to balance and hold pieces in place as well (I did use toothpicks as a support for heavy pieces like the heads, only) these dinos would never have held together on their own with the glue! The applicator brush was just right. Be sure to clean the bottle and cap edges before closing it up. As the glue dried, it left shiny, glossy spots where exposed - so think before over smearing!

I bought this because I was making a tree for a baby shower cake. I was very happy with this product. The leaves stuck perfectly to the wires and it made the trip two hours in the car over some very rough roads. The only thing I didn't like was that it did leave shiney areas if you used a little too much. Overall it was a great purchase.

Overall, very pleased with this product. It had no noticeable flavor and was clear during application and after it dried. Used it to apply sprinkles to the side of a cake after the icing was already in the crusted state so the sprinkles weren't sticking otherwise. The built-in application brush inside the lid helped make things easy and the sprinkles stuck nicely to the outside of the side of the cake. Still haven't tried it yet with heavier decorations, so will have to see how it holds up.Next time I may pour a small amount into a medicine cup to use during application because as I repeated using it on my icing I could tell a slight food color transfer from my icing as I dipped the application brush back into the bottle.

Had heard about this product or a like one. The above photo was a project my 7 y.o. granddaughter designed and made (after I made the cake). It's her take on an "Insane Pools" tv show, which she loves. So, one thing we also purchased was a Bento Box of gummies from Amazon. She used scissors to cut some of the gummies into interesting shapes by gluing various pieces together. One obvious example are the 2 larger green gummy pieces glued together, which are part of the water feature. The glue was applied to one end of one of the gummy pieces, then both held together briefly, then carefully laid on a flat surface. Before we knew it, the glue had dried. My granddaughter then wanted to try gluing lots of gummies together. Great product!

It’s okay , although very thick it’s not really good in a tall bottle , maybe if it was in a small jar without the brush it would be really good, but the brush is too big for small areas of fondant work and you have to put a brush into the bottle which gets the glue everywhere , also when it sets you can still see the glue, this is the first time I have used a glue and it leaves a Mark , if you put it into a little bowl it drys really quickly so you loose some of the product, if desperate I would have to get this again as it sticks really well but will always look for an alternative

As a cookie artist, this is a must have! When gluing on any pearls beads edibles to your cookies, it only takes a tiny dot and it dries clear so no one sees it! It works perfectly with candy diamonds when doing Cookie jewelry.

This edible glue kept everything in place, and the attached brush made everything even easier. I would definitely be ordering a bigger bottle
