PAC LP7-2R L.O.C. PRO Series 2-Channel Line Output Converter with Remote Turn On

This loc works pretty good IMO, the only issue I have with it is that the gain knob doesn't seem to have much adjustment to it, it may be because of how I have the amp gain set though, I really haven't messed with it much, I would recommend this, I would also recommend using twisted pairs to connect the speaker level input, this helps cut down on the noise, I just used my drill, a vise and some different colored wires to twist up into color coded pairs, it worked great and I have absolutely no noise bleeding through even though I ran my high level input wires right next to my battery wire.

This thing is awesome. I have been using it now for about 4 months and its performing flawlessly. The fact that I don't need to search for a remote turn on lead makes installing this thing as a breeze. Highly recommend this over the PAC 5 which requires the a remote turn on lead. Put this in a 2017 Dodge Journey with the crappy Uconnect system. And since I didn't want to spend $500+ for a metra kit to install an aftermarket head unit with pre-amp outputs, the LP7 was the next logical choice.

It works as described, BUT! It doesn't really pickup low enough voltage to do a remote turn on, I'm using it straight to my phone. I used to have a JL CLRLC. But lost the remote. So you have to turn this on by powering the lead that says it's the turn on for the amp ??? It works so whatever. Most secondly. The input rcas are male. This makes no sense at all. I was too impatient to go out and buy adapters, so I ended up cutting the ends off of both the unit and then the new pair or rca hookups I bought. Stupid, I know.But it works and drives a nice clean signal and doesn't have any clipping what so ever. Kind of amazing. I'm not sure if it even drives the voltage it claims, my amp is cranked and doesn't clip either. But everything is loud, deep, and clear. So be it.

I've tried other brand loc's with factory systems. Every other one had distortion no matter what I tried..... this one, I was able to set the system to just before distortion to insure nothing was clipping.... great quality and value

Works great . Don’t feel like heavy base turn it down . Great song comes on turn it back up . Easy to install . Only downfall is the knob falls off the knob sometimes . Otherwise great product .

I bought this to add an amp to my factory Bose system in my 2011 GMC Yukon. It worked great for about 6 months, after a while it stopped working.

I had to buy one of these because my wife doesn't like bass and I absolutely need bass in my music. At about ½ volume on this dial, my music sounded perfect. And when the wifey was in the car, she could turn the bass all the way down easily. I will absolutely buy another one of these for the new car my powered amp/sub combo is going into.The only downside is that there is no easily-visible indicator of where the volume is tuned to, so if this is mounted in a location with little-to-no direct light— good luck. I don't know if it's just my old man eyes or a fact, but I don't even see the indicator on the picture of this product. It's there, though— a tiny triangle to indicate the setting.
