Dremel EZ407SA EZ Drum Sanding Band and Mandrel

This is not the first of these I have purchased because I love them. They are easier than the compressed rubber cylinder when replacing the sanding drum. Note of caution, if you are sanding aggressively at an angle the torque from the motor can "pop" the mandrel up while working. The value is good due to the time changing the drum being short. Fits all my dremel and other brand tools. They work great. The durability is good if you don't get too aggressive for long periods of time and overheat it repeatedly.

I finally got tired of dealing with the traditional drum type mandrels and purchased one of these. What a difference! Super quick and easy to change. The only caveat is that the sanding drum can slip under heavy load but it is rare that you'll be using these that heavily. The convenience is well worth the money. Wish I'd have bought this sooner!

Easy to use.

I find it really, really difficult to release the sanding drum to install another. I suspect by the time I find it easier to change, the drum will start slipping like other reviewers have commented on. This is one purchase that I regret despite the overall high ratings. In hindsight, I wish I had just purchased a second plain mandrel and had dedicated mandrels for each of the grit drums I use regularly.

Makes changing sanding wheels so easy!! No more screwing on and off! Worth the money. Works great. Wish it came in other sizes too.

^^^Thats what I am.^^^ I live and will die with my Dremel. It's unconscionable to me, that there are others in the world that are NOT as irrevocably in love with their Dremel! I am MS FRIGGIN MACGYVER 2023 with my Dremel!! Seriously. I rule MY world with this tool. I can and DO ANYTHING. These EZ Mandrels ARE sliced cheese! And that's saying something coming from an absolute destroyer of every cheese block that has had the unfortunate fate of my otherwise glorious kitchen skills. The ONLY negative? Isn't even about the EZ Mandrel. They don't have these for the smaller sanding drums!! MAKE A SIZED LINE DREMEL!! For all sizes of drums!!! If you are one of those folks that have yet to experience a Dremel tool...how else can I say it? Especially for all my ladies out thur.... WHAT ARE U WAITING FER? If you are into ANY kind of hobby. From gardening&flower arrangements to pottery slingin'&glass blowing to stampin&card making to home improvements of ANY & ALL kinds. Nothing too big or too small. If you don't have a Dremel tool for a dominate hand YOURE DOING IT WRONG!! And these mandrels took an A+ tool to AAA+++. MAKE THEM FOR ALL DRUM SIZES DREMEL!! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS DIY!!! PLEASE! THIS IS HOW I DREMEL!

I love this bit when I am doing a lot of sanding as I am not having to find the small screw driver and fight the sanding bits on and off. This bit allows me to quickly change sanding disks as they wear out or I need a finer grit. It works extremely well and after several years of having this bit it is still one of the favorite ones I have found for the dremel. It also fits my micro motors and jewelers motors for doing more detailed work. After many many hours of use it is still holding up and working perfectly. Just the time it will save you is worth the money.

Compre 2 piezas para ir turnando diferentes lijas, la realidad es que cumplen muy bien su funcion, mucho mejores que los genericos que suelen encontrarse en internet, vale la pena el costo y aparentemente tendran una buena durabilidad.

Arrived as described. Works great and easy to change sanding band when worn out. It save a little bit of time overall.
