This is a wonderful jar in the lock-eat line by Luigi Bormioli. The size is convenient for storing larger portions of liquid or mushy foods like hummus, puddings or stews. The lid and wire remove completely so you can heat the jar in the microwave and bring it to the table as a serving vessel. The squat, compact shape allows for easy storage in the refrigerator or in cupboards. The shoulders on the jar aren't too deep so it's easy to scrape out the last bits of food without much effort. This whole series of jars are easy-care and can be fully disassembled and put into the dishwasher. I still like Weck jars, but these Lock-eat jars are much more convenient to use ( no lost clips or chipped lids from said clips) and look great. Be aware that they cost more than other jars and this listing is for one jar only, not six as mentioned in the details.

Got 2 of these to use for sourdough starter storage. One was perfect and worked great. The second one arrived without the gasket making it useless! When trying to get a gasket or return the jar all I got was the run around, between Amazon customer service and manufacturer customer service. Am now having to buy a gasket so the jar is functional.

Ich benutze dieses Glas für meinen Kombucha Teepilz, der hier prima untergebracht ist. Das Glas hat sehr schöne Proportionen. Ich verwende es ohne Deckel, der keine feste Verbindung zum Hauptbehälter hat und bestimmt luftdicht mit dem Spannbügel und der beigelegten Gummidichtung aufgesetzt werden kann. Alles war sehr gut und ansprechend verpackt.

牛乳パックのまま作ったヨーグルトの毎回のとりわけが面倒で、牛乳パックの長さのスプーンも検討しましたが、ガラスジャーのほうが気分が上がると思い、セラーメイト等とも比べましたが、ふたが完全に取れる、形が縦長でない、が決め手となりました。ふたもしっかりとしまります。ヨーグルトにドライフルーツをいれて楽しんでいます。
