Trailair L05 Flex Air® Pin Box 21,000 lbs

Heavy as expected, no problem fitting it in place and look forward to trying it out soon. Will follow up later. Would have given 5 stars but the packaging needs a bunch of work. Arrived like the cardboard box had to be patched along the way. Tons of aftermarket tape and no way to handle such a bulky heavy item.Followup, what a world of difference! Went from bone jarring at every level, to a smooth rolling type bounce. I feel more secure in driving now and this also made the wife happier. A big plus!

I had the original Tri-Glide TrailAire by LCI. It worked Great for about 15,000 miles. It was not broken, it was showing wear, so as a preventive maintenance measure, I replaced it with what LCI sent me for free, a new lower jaw that fit in place of the TriGlide lower jaw. A solid non sliding long jaw that still held the airbag and shock absorber. Wow, what a difference, the ride went from Great to total chucking, jarring out of the seats ride. Bridges on interstate highways were never like this before. ROUGH! We drove like this for 5,000 miles. Something had to change. I looked at the touted Trailersaver Hitch. I have no doubt that it works, but I had spent money on two other 5th wheel hitches over the years for various reasons. If I had it to do over again, hands down I would just have bought the TrailerSaver. Well I did consider it this time, but I looked for something less expensive. Which brings me to purchasing the Flex-Air by LCI components at $993.68 shipped from somewhere I won't tell you on here. Just ask me in a PM. I'm not getting paid to tell you, it's just a better deal. This Flex-Air is the equivalent of the Tri-Glide that I had from my purchase of the Mobile Suites DRV back in 11-05-2011.
