Caffe' Castorino Decaffeinato Ground Italian Coffee

Did not “pop” when opened. Tasted awful, have to assume from being stale since other reviews mentioned good flavor. We love our espresso and wanted a nice decaf for the evening, but we had to just throw this one out unfortunately.

This coffee will certainly astound even the most sophisticated palate of any serious coffee connoisseur. I am very pleased to see it finally being offered on Amazon.I buck the traditional methods as I brew it in my French press often blending it with one of C .C. caffeinated offerings. It took a little time to get it right but now that I have the portions down it brews a wonderfully smooth yet full bodied cup of enjoyable morning bliss.

Ludwig Roselius would be proud! More than a century after he became the first person to successfully decaffeinate coffee in 1903, Castorino seems to have perfected the product. As a former Sanka sipper from years ago, and a sampler of many decafs since then. I've finally found a decaf that makes no compromises. It's important to me that it's naturally decaffeinated, as opposed to using solvents never intended for human consumption. Decaffeinato comes finely ground, has a tantalizing aroma and a rich, well rounded flavor that remains consistent from first taste to aftertaste. It isn't, however, my everyday coffee because I don't want to be on the run or distracted while I'm drinking it. It's my Sunday morning and time-for-quiet-reflection coffee, meant to be savored, not slugged down. Highly recommended!

Good quality coffee. I use it for espresso or a dark cup of regular coffee. Similar to Starbucks Italian roast with a little less acidity.

Tried Castorino Coffee at a friend's house once and now so happy to find it online!

Had my first cup of Caffe Castorino Decaf. coffee this morning. I find that most de caffeinated coffee can be boring, bitter or bland. BUT CAFE CASTORINO gives a full body flavor without the caffeine. I’m very impressed that the roasting facility is solar powered, which means no carbon emissions touch the coffee beans. I highly recommend this product, and will definitely be a repeat customer.

I’m not crazy about this through the Nespresso maker. I did try it as pour over, and this is how I like it. Family enjoys this too.
