amazing way to keep coffee beans fresh. A little disappointed in the type of glass for my own personal reasons (i wanted to personalize this with a stencil and glass etching cream, but this is one of those glass types that the cream doesn't work on) but for the sake of the product itself I'm super happy. The handle is great, and slides in and out easily... the seal is wonderful and keeps my beans fresher than anything that I've tried in the past. The glass is not fragile, and looks like it will hold up better than some of the water glasses in my cabinet.I purchased the large and medium sizes. The large one looks a LOT bigger than I expected, but when filled with a one pound bag of coffee is exactly the right size. The medium one is what I would consider perfect countertop size. I love that these are made of glass and easy to get in/out of and will purchase more in the future for other items besides coffeeFor anyone thinking about trying to etch this: I attempted to use Armour Etch (purchased at hobby lobby) and left it on for 45 minutes... it completely rinsed off without doing ANYTHING to the container. Maybe a different cream/product would work better, but this is the first product that i have encountered where the type of glass did not etch.

These containers work great to store coffee and hold them fresher for longer periods of time then just keeping them open or in standard containers. Definitely recommend. Easy to clean and one nice feature is the metal plate on the bottom of the sealing handle is removable to easily clean without having to clean the sealing handle itself, which typically takes longer to get the water to dry. I'd get the large for more than 12oz of coffee and medium for any amount less.

Sturdy and well designed. By reducing air, and air flow, it does lengthen shelf life of contents Disappointed that they are adding plastic details that were previously stainless. Details that are shown as metal in their product pictures.

We bought a large one for storing coffee beans, and we love it. It does what it says it does, and the quality is outstanding. It is not hard to pull the lid out or push it in. In fact, it's kind of fun.

Purchased one, two, three … six. We've loved them from the moment they came out of their very, very well-wrapped packaging. We use four of them to store fresh nuts, and two to keep our decaf and caffeinated coffee K-cups fresh (NOTE: We use "San Francisco Bay Gourmet Coffee" K-Cups constructed mostly of mesh, rather than all plastic, which requires that they be kept in an air-tight container to maintain freshness). We used to keep all these items in standard leftover containers which, while air-tight, weren't exactly attractive enough to keep out on the countertop. As a result, the nuts in particular would go stale because we'd forget we had them. Out of sight, out of mind. But the EVAK containers are beautiful and efficient. We keep them out on the counter all the time and, as a result, we snack healthier, and we've reduced our household shrink.

This item arrived broken. Made me wonder.... The package was in excellent condition so no postage problems, has to be poor quality of glass used. I'm glad to be returning it, can't imagine shoving that tight vac handle down and having it break AFTER its filled.

Absolutely amazing and looks beautiful on my counter. I will be ordering more for gifts. I ordered a large which holds a 1 lb. bag of coffee beans perfect. Keeps the beans as fresh as the first day every time.

I like the product. My application for this product is simply to store my coffee. The container keeps my coffee fresh. I wish that the container were wider. Scooping my coffee from the bottom of the container would be easier if were wider. Also being a clear glass container it shows all my fingerprints and palmprints. Not so much of a issue for me versus my wife. So if the container had a different outside exterior that didn't show off the fingerprints and it were wider I think it would be much better. otherwise, it does it's job satisfactorily.

ich bin ja grosser fan von neuen ideen die das leben erleichtern sollen und da ist der evak von prepara genau in der richtigen liga. einfach zeug rein aufsatz drauf und luft raus. hält das essen viel länger frisch. was es nicht so gern hat sind kräuter da man sie kaum komplett abdichten kann da man sie sonst zerquetschen muss...es bleibt einfach zu viel luft und feuchtigkeit drinnen und sie fangen an zu modern...aber alles andere von cornflakes bis zu kaffee funktioniert fantastisch.preislich schon im oberen feld meiner meinung nach aber rentiert sich...ich spar schon für die restlichen prepara sachen.
