Flash Omnibus By Geoff Johns HC Vol 01

Johns is one of my favourite writers of Flash and does it well, I picked this up as the first thing I ever read to do with Flash and have since recommended it to beginners into comics too. It works well in setting up Flash's character (Wally West) and the supporting characters without being bogged down by continuity.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into Flash. Also, Kolins' art is easy to like and works well with the Flash as a character.

It took a long time to arrive but it was worth the wait.This is a great book, good superhero fun with a well thought out world, fully fleshed out characters, fantastic art and great dialogue. I honestly have no idea why anyone would want to wipe this away with a reboot: the history these characters have with each other was a large part of what made the book so good and it was handled delicately enough that you didn't have to know that history beforehand to enjoy the book.

Love this book!DC tend to get a lot of stick for the quality of their book binding (usually just with glue) however this book is so well put together and I've read it 3 times and its still going strong!Some of the best Flash stories all in one book and I keep wanting to read it over and over! Ive got volume 2 already on its way in the post!
