Came in box. Perfectly sharpened. Lovely buy and I was running low on black now I have so many I don't have to worry.

Expected better, deeper color pigmentation.
I use Caran D'Ache but read that FC Polychromos Black was superior. Not quite my experience. It is more like reflective grey,compared to CD's black. FC Polychromos are great pencils, I am sure, but don't have the pigmentation to use concurrently with CD, imo.

I THINK THESE ARE KNOCK OFFS- writing on the pencils is not the same
These do not have the same writing on the pencils as the ones I have that I ordered from Jerrys Artarama! just a heads up for others who might order them. I saw some reviews say tho g these are not very black. The ones in my set are very black and soft so you can fill in areas quickly or sharpen them to make very fine lines.
