This cushion has greatly improved my quality of life. I can once again sit, drive, and generally get through the day with much less pain. I wish I had found this cushion sooner as it would have saved me a lot of pain and maybe even resulted in a better recovery. Prior to this, I tried more than a dozen cushions during the span of a year. Sitting continued to result in painful flare-ups with all of them. I consulted doctors and physical therapists but they offered nothing except drugs and suggested nerve blocks. I was desperate to give my body a chance to recover so the search for a way to get pressure off the nerve continued. I was hesitant about the cost of this cushion but it's worth it. The comfort was instant. The holes are in the perfect place to take pressure off nerves. And, the holes are big enough they should work well for a variety of body types. This is now the only cushion I need and I use it everywhere. This cushion is on the thicker side for driving. I'm petite so I can handle the height boost this provides in the car. It's worth it to be able to drive without enduring serious flare-ups. As for sitting at a desk or in any other situation, this cushion is perfect. Excellent materials and construction. No toxic chemical odors like some of the cheaper pillows I tried. I've now used it for months and it's still supportive and like new. With good care this cushion will last a long time. Please never change the design or high quality. Thank you for making this cushion as it has given me a chance to regain my life.

This is the one for me! Ischial bursitis is incredibly difficult to resolve, and seating is crucial to minimize further pain and damage. I ordered this cushion and one that is less expensive, and tried them both. They arrived on the same day. I tried the other one first, and within 20 minutes I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable. I switched to this one, and the pain reduction was remarkable! The key for this condition is alleviating the pain from bone on chair, and this Aylio cushion has the reduced pressure sockets in the right place for me. I have been working at the computer for 2 hours now and the prevention of further pressure has made it a much more tolerable experience. This cushion was 100% worth the price and I will be ordering two more so I can have them in various locations.

I have tried many seat cushions over the past three years. I have had sciatica for many years, and so when I developed pain in my left buttock, I thought that it was my sciatica. If you are suffering from pain anywhere in your butt, hip, or pelvis, I recommend that you get checked out by a doctor immediately and get a pelvic MRI done. Many doctors will order an MRI of the lumbar spine. But if you are having a problem in any part of your butt, hips, or pelvis, a lumbar MRI will not reveal it. I am sharing all of this because it turns out that I have a cyst on the upper part of my left femur, which is causing excruciating pain in my left sits bone. Now that I know what it is, I ordered this cushion in the hopes that it will reduce my pain while sitting. I have had it about two weeks, and it does seem to help. I did not give it five stars because it takes some getting used to. I am using it in my recliner at home. If you do not position it correctly, so that your sits bones are directly in the two holes of the cushion, then the pain will be just as bad as before. So, I find that I have to shift my body around and the cushion a few times to get into the right seated position. Once I do that, as I said, it does seem to help. I recommend this cushion over the many dozens of others out there with just one part cut out for the coccyx tailbone— if you are like me and have pain in one or both sits bones. I think that this cushion is much better at providing relief. Whatever you do, please do not live with horrible pain as I did without seeing a doctor. If people have not suffered from back or butt/pelvic pain, they very often have no idea how bad that it can get. So, people around you may not encourage you to go in get checked out. Again, tell your doctor that you would like to get a pelvic MRI done, if the pain is in your butt or hip. If he or she will not order it, then find a doctor who will. Fantastic!! Even more than just fantastic. It has made sitting in cars, restaurants, public transportation. home and domestic and international flights nearly pain-free. I fits all seats and is easy to carry.

I developed serious hip impingement in February and we are now in July and I haven't been able to sit or bend for almost five months. Forget putting on shoes and socks, making the bed, eating meals at a table, etc. Needless to say, this has been a painful and frustrating journey. My doctors have been great but there's just so much they can help with in terms of practical, day-to-day functioning. In desperation, I bought a variety of cushions (wedge, contoured, air bubble, I even went to an upholstery store and begged them for any random piece of foam) to try and sit without further damaging the muscle and nerves that are compressed. None worked, until I found the Aylio Socket Seat Cushion. This cushion just makes sense. The two openings correspond to my sit bones so they do not compress my muscle and nerves like a panini sandwich, while the rest of me is cushioned in comfortable and supporting firmness. There is an opening in the back for the tail bone, which also helps avoid compression. The cushion is high quality, well-made and looks easy to keep clean. I received the cushion two days ago and I still need to heal so this is still a tough journey, but I am keeping the Aylio Socket Seat Cushion because I think it will work well for me. Everyone's problem is different and of course there isn't one seat cushion that works for everyone, but if you need a high quality, well-made cushion with openings for your sit bones to help with hip impingement pain, try this one. Update: It's been two weeks since I received the Aylio Socket Seat Cushion and I use it every day. I can confidently say it works well and helps me sit more comfortably than I have in months!

Sit Bone Protection: 5 stars Quality: 5 stars Overall Comfort: 2 stars. Comfort comes from where it does NOT touch you, not from where it does! Cost: 2 stars. Would be 5, if it actually had cushioning for the parts that make contact with your body. --------------------------------------------------------- My spouse has been seriously ill, and has lost fat and muscle to where he has no built-in padding, ANYWHERE, anymore. Sitting in his home office chair has been especially painful for him. We've spent hundreds, and this is the first cushion that actually helped, thanks to the deep "sit bone" cutouts. Unfortunately, the term "cushion" is to be used lightly, as it is VERY - as in TOO - firm. For a hundred dollars, I will say this appears to be well-constructed and built to last. And it really is fantastic at eliminating sit bone pain. BUT, they neglected to add a layer of softness on top. I have MORE than ample padding on my rump, and *I* find it too firm to be comfortable. So while it absolutely eliminates his sit bone pain, which IS huge, he still actively UNCOMFORTABLE. This is crushingly disappointing, given all he's going through, especially for the premium price. You can buy a whole CHAIR for $100. I'm debating picking up an ugly "egg crate"-style wheelchair foam pad, and cutting holes over the corresponding "sit bone" cutouts in this cushion. It's both ridiculous and frustrating that I have to spend extra time and money, possibly in vain, to make a hundred dollar seat "cushion" ACTUALLY comfortable. I hope they revisit the design and can add a softer, top layer to it. In the meantime, it's at least preventing pressure sores and eliminating pain, even if it otherwise causes a measure of discomfort.

Purchased to help with sit bone pain while driving and it works well. The exterior is a little scratchy so I added a pillowcase and it's perfect.

This is the second one of these cushions that my wife and I have bought. I recently had a bike accident and fractured my pelvis. The cushions are well designed, very well made and work perfectly. She and I are completely satisfied and happy now we have one each.

Having sat down for hours on end for many weeks (Zoom etc due to changed lifestyle during pandemic) I developed such pain and tenderness around the sit bones area I couldn’t sit down at all. After several weeks of standing all day including to eat meals etc and much googling to try to work out what was going on and what might help, I came across this cushion. Not the cheapest but excellent reviews and I’d already taken a Stanley knife to an old cushion to intuitively make holes in the same places so it seemed like it was probably what I needed. And it was! Don’t be put off if it’s not instantly comfortable... whilst giving some relief I found it generally uncomfortable for a few days but persevered and got used to it / softened in and it’s been amazing! I carry it from room to room and use it in the car so I can drive to work now. Hoping one day to heal enough not to need it but for now it’s a fantastic solution. Relives the pressure exactly where the pain is. For anyone else struggling with a similar problem ...I’m 5 and a half weeks in and it’s started to feel a bit better within the last few days, I can sit on a normal chair for maybe 15 minutes now ...so it’s taking a while but hopefully will get better. Bottom line (pun intended!) : this Aylio cushion has been worth every penny.

Schade, dass es nirgendwo in Europa einen ähnlichen guten Kissen gibt (die wenig Kissen, die es hier gibt, haben Löcher, die nicht groß genug und genug weit auseinandern sind) und zum Glück gibt es diesen Kissen, aber man muss denen aus den USA bestellen. Habe ich gemacht und freue mich jeden Tag, dass ich es gekauft habe. Der Kissen ist schön weich (für jemand der um herum 60kg wiegt), aber nicht soviel, dass die Sitzbeinhöcker den Stuhlbereich berühren, wenn drauf sitzt).

My doctor recommended the orthopedic cushion for sit-bone pressure relief. I have only been using it for 3 days and it is already making a big difference. I can sit comfortably. In addition getting up and walking has become less painful. I am amazed at the speed of improvement for what was becoming a chronic condition. The cover is well made and sturdy. I wrote to the company with a question regarding taking the cushion on a plane and received an informative and thoughtful response the same day. I cannot recommend highly enough.
