MCWlaser LIHUIYU M Main Board Co2 Laser Controller Engraver Cutter Engarvering

I've lasered a lot of stuff on my K40. While doing 40+ hours of engraving work in a 110+ degree garage, the Y-Axis stopped moving. A reset of everything fixed the issue. The next day, it happened again. This time, the Y-Axis shuffled back and forth. It sounded horrible and wouldn't go back to home position. I attached another 12v stepper motor, to the control board, and had the same issue.I ordered this replacement board. My K40's board had a firmware version from 2017. The firmware in the picture for this product shows 2015. The board that arrived was actually a 2019 board and identical to my dead board. I swapped the board, powered up the system, and the Y-Axis glided back to the home position. She's been running without problem! (I've also added cooling to the garage to lower the temps)This fixed my Y-Axis issue on my K40 and upgraded the firmware! (I think the steppers are also a bit quieter now). Highly recommended!!

EDIT: This is not the board I order back in Sept,20,21? First off this one looks purple mine looked like the original one that came with my K40.. Now this maybe a newer version. May or may not work with K40 whisperer? If you use it... I do see no need to upgrade... Even if I make a bigger table I don't need the extra cost or bells and whistles when K40 Whisper works great and is free.. Check the serial numbers and the Whisper site to see if its compatible first..Shipped with just bubble pack in a zip bag in an azon bag -1 falling star*... Got a USB cable that was a nice surprise since I usually unplug mine. To plug into the printer, just like the old one that comes with the K40 laser cutter. Its the old style just board like my other one so I can use K40 whisper.Using this new one to build a DIY 4x8 or larger cutting laser so I can make very large build projects...plugged it in works, (try it before the return window go's bye bye) was worried with the packing issue gtg

Works great on my k40 laser, I had to change the incoming power plug on the board. I carefully removed the stock plastic clip off of the oem board (5 pin) and removed the plastic piece on this board(4 pin) and rewired the the stock (5 pin plug) I cut one side off and made it a 4 pin to plug into the board.

This is a completely diff board than my k40 board. Not just the size but the connectors are different. I cant find relevant info for interchange. I guess i send it back.

Bought a laser engraver 50cm x 60cm Led laser head, did not like the control board, did like the K40 control board with K40 whisper software. Thing to note the output needs to change from negative logic to positive logic. needs to be inverted.

I replaced a Moshi Draw board with this board and the unit worked much better now. Very happy with the board and was delivered quickly. The power wire pin out was different be easy to figure out and change works great
