I’ve had mine for a month now and no issues. USB ports fit and hold well. The cover was a bit odd at first but once I installed it it made sense I have the cover upside down in the picture to make it easier to remove when I move since it’s a rental so ignore the 2 slots at the top the actual top is smooth all the way across. Charges my iPhone very quickly. Frees up plug ins around night stand exceptionally well.

First of all everyone always has the same problem... finding a place to charge their devices! Well these outlets will solve that problem and you still have your regular 120v plugs also. Very easy to install, I'm no electrician by no means. It arrived on time and in 20-30 minutes a headache around my house was solved. I would recommend buying one of these or several. I bought the 2 pack that has the 2 USB only . I will be getting another pair soon. Great quality , price and awesome convenience!! Love it! Every household needs these.

These are great. But the backside of the outlet is as big as the front. If you have an old house that has steel or aluminum wall boxes (or missing boxes altogether) then the outlet may not fit. But charges phones really fast. Love them for that.

Bought and installed 4 in our home. The one we use the most, after 2.5 years started to not charged our devices sporadically.

love that we were able to change our outlets out and to be more updated for our family and house. We enjoy them and are planning to change out more outlets as we can.

Just letting you know I was able to put these outside in my shed that had newer electrical outlet housing box's that are full size. My house was built in the late 50's and this outlet is too big to fit in the housing causing it to stick out the front of the wall about 1/2 a inch or so and the sides pretty much are touching the walls of the housing. (Could be a fire hazard) Be aware if you have a newer house you should be OK. They are pretty cool if you can get them to work correctly.

I really like these outlets. After I had a LOT of company for 3 weeks and everyone was plugging in their phones and tablets, it was becoming a struggle to find an outlet I could use while cooking. The only downside I can find is they are all set up with the child guards and I find it very difficult to get plugs in as I have arthritis in both hands and you have to really use a lot of force to get an item plugged in. But the convenience of having the USBs available. I have them at both ends of my kitchen island, both ends of the love seat, and beside the recliners in the LR. I'm going to put them in the spare bedrooms as well.

I wired one of these up in minutes. I need to test the USB's. The only con is they do not tell you in the instructions how to orient the face plate. I had to turn it the other way after seeing it wouldn't quite go on right.

Great looking unit. Does what it supposed to do. Like cover plate hides screws. Has blue light to indicate there's power. Liked/disliked wiring termination. Better then typical receptacle where you slide wire in hole and almost impossible to get it out. This unit slide wire in and tighten with screw. Drawback if bare wire has a Nick or slightly bent, the screw bracket has problem holding wire. Took 1/2 hour to wire as wires seemed tight, but as soon as they moved came out, but only on white side. Compared both and saw white were slightly bent. Staightend and and no more issue. Couldn't just cut wire and strip as was replacing old receptacle and had typical contractor 2" to work with. Also check what is on circuit as after 1st day and having 2 devices charging, no blue light. Thought it was defective. Went and checked cct breaker and was tripped. I now only charge 2 if there is nothing going on with other things on circuit.

The Plug-in was very easy to stall. just take out the old plug and put in the new one with the same wires that were previously connected. The only Downside is that You must ensure that you have the Deeper electrical boxes. One of my boxes was a shallow one and the receptacle did not fit and i had to replace the electrical box which is a problem in an existing wall. The fast-charger USB plugs work great on any of the phones or other items we have. the electronics are able to adjust as needed to the various items plugged in.

Too big for the box, so may cause a hazard since wires could get in contact with the box itself and cause a short. Also too deep for the box, so there is a gap between face plate and wall. Ugly.

While the receptacle is larger than the simpler one it is replacing, I had no trouble with the installation. It works just fine, charges my tablet, phone, and Kindle reader just fine. No issues at all. Just what we expected.
