My vet recommended this for my nervous gelding. Does not make him groggy but just seems to take the edge off his nervousness. He is a willing horse but sensitive. He likes the taste. Since I dint ride daily I give him a dose the day before and the morning we ride. Directions say maximum effect is two hours after being given.

SynChill works to take the edge off my mare. I only use it occasionally for shows, clinics or other events that may be more stressful for her. I have recommended it to friends and most have great success with it, but not all. One friend reported SynChill had the opposite effect. Oops!

Currently using this on my second youngster getting started in training. Works well to produce a mellow calming effect in high strung, tense horses.

I like these for at home use and I use the gel for horse shows. I will give him a small scoop before jump lessons to keep him from getting too amped up. I don’t put it in any grain he just eats it right out of my hand!

True story.. I moved my horse to a different barn for the summer and at my biggest surprise he was extremely nervous there. He is a very calm, lazy horse usually. We went to a completely different facility. From a "small" and quite to a big and "noisy" farm. The first couple of days were just nervousness, craziness and a lot of sweat. Then I start putting on synchill ( Gel ) and after two days my horse was completely relaxed and enjoying his new barn. I’m so so glad they were able to find a 100% natural product to calm and relax horses and that it actually WORK. I‘m now ordering the pellets so I can have him on Synchill daily. I received this container, which in the picture looks like a big gallon size bucket but in fact it’s TINY and it only comes half full. I opened it and look what’s inside? Barely enough for a week…False and misleading advertising. Paid almost $100 but worth $10. Behind disappointed- buy direct from sellers website.

I tried this product hoping it would help my rescue horse chill out a little. his behavior wasescalating at the barn & I was hoping this product would help take the edge off. I honestly did not notice any difference. But I also think you can’t buy your way out of bad behavior. This gelding needed a lot more than chill out supplements.... so can’t say whether it’s effective or not!
