Hell House Llc: Special Edition Director's Cut

I have a huge collection of horror movies, and this one is pretty good. I know some people don't seem to like it, but everything is subjective, especially horror. It has a good concept, the characters/actors are good, and has a really nice "creepy/jump scare" pace. I will say this, I like this one more than the remakes. Overall, I liked it, and glad to have it in my library.

This movie is a found footage type flick about a group of 20 somethings who own and operate a Halloween maze professionally. They choose a haunted and evil location and the footage/movie is set up like a documentary.No spoilers. This movie is scary as F! I don't understand how this didn't get enough publicity or attention! I've seen every scary movie ever made. I started on scary movies at age (1st grade) with the Stephen King movies when they came out in theaters. I saw faces of death which was banned when I watched it. From every Friday the 13th and every Nightmare on Elm Street to every Halloween flick, I've seen them all. I even read all the scary novels as a kid. The Blair Witch Project was found footage that made me motion sick and angry they didn't wipe Heather's nose! I've seen Grave Encounters 1 and 2 and the 1st was okay, the 2nd meh.This one is FREAKY and SCARY.It's psychologically frightening. You really get shaken up. The footage is not bouncy. Most of the scares you just don't expect! I liked this flick so much that I got the mask (you'll know it when you see it) and I'm adding it to my home haunted house this year. Watch this flick you won't be disappointed!!

Great found footage series.

Awesome movie

I only recently found this movie a few months back and it quickly became one of my favorite horror movies especially found footage needless to say I was pleasantly suprised. This movie even though was low budget has some really great jump scares and even after the credits rolled it stuck with me which it's very hard to scare me and this movie did just that. The acting is pretty solid and the twist at the end was both great and unexpected. If you are looking for a creepy movie to make you jump then this movie is for you!

It's a surprisingly good horror movie, there really are no big stars or celebrities, and because of that it feels more real. The film follows a group of 5 co-workers/friends that are trying to build a haunted house attraction out of an old abandoned hotel, turns out the " haunted " part is a little more real than they think. It's not the best movie ever, but it's really good, has some pretty good creepy moments, and the actors do a fairly good job; I definitely recommend a viewing if you a fan of horror, or just looking for a good movie to watch during Halloween season.

I turned this on because it was included in my Prime account and I wasn't expecting anything. Honestly I just sort of had it on as background noise at first. But my God this was a pleasant surprise! By far one of the better found-footage horror movies I've ever seen. I I'm so happy I stumbled upon this movie. It actually did cause me to jump at one point and I just really liked the way they unfolded The Narrative. Plus it was paced perfectly for a horror movie. I liked it so much I had to order the DVD with the director's cut and additional footage. Not to mention they're making a sequel so check this out now!

Thisovie is a fantasyic gem that still scares.me.when I watch it again and again. I find the acting fun, the story interesting, and it feels real and not with some cgi effects.If you want to own this movie, buy it digitally. The DVD is terrible. I bought it twice and the screen jumped around. The audio didn't synch up. I have no idea how this was approved for distribution .I am sorry for the director who tried to do an audio commentary, but it's unwatchable.

Possibly my favourite found footage horror flic. Highly recommend giving it a watch if you’re a horror fan.

I don't understand why this movie is given allmost 5 stars . There are mutch better selfmade movies than this one . Not scary , no story to tell , bad acting , ......etc . Hardly 2 stars from me . It's a junk movie . 3/10 .

I can’t stop researching this movie over and over. One of thee best found footage horror movies to date. Directors cut here has a little extra footage and cool extras to enjoy after the movie as well. I just wish I could buy part 2 and 3 on DVD as well!!!
