SO-So
The Plane blad needed a lot of work to get it square , It was ground at a angle so I spent a lot of time trying to get it square. It works ok but not nearly as easy to use as a good small block plane with a adjustable blade opening, all and all i would not recomend this plane, get a good Stanley small block plane instead.

Get a more expensive Japanese plane!
Out of the box blade was very sharp but it was not easy to adjust the blade and it didn’t pull thin shavings. Spend more for a better plane!

simple to use, for small pieces
its feels good in the hand, but could be a little inconfortable for big hands.simple to use, with a hammer, knock gently on the back side of the body of the plane to retrack the blade, and on the blade to get more thick shaves. The key is being gentle, you can adjuts to super thin shaves

Good for the price.
Works well for the price. The blade is thinner than I thought, but still holds an edge well. I have to play around with the chip break to get in there correctly. Took a couple hours on the diamond and waterstones to get it razor sharp.

Fantastic
I gave this to my god sons father for Christmas. He can not wait to us it. He loves the blade is sharper then anything else he has. Great quality. The seller from Japan wrote a personalized note to me. He thanked me for buying his produce and he included a little origami that he made.We both are so pleased with the service and the produce. Also, I can not say enough about the price. It so so fairly priced. Many Thanks and My friend will order more merchandise.

Today I got it and it is a wonderful piece to work with
It took more than two months to arrive and I thought it wouldn’t come, I even got the money back from the seller, but I’m obligated to say that the seller was impeccable. Today I got it and it is a wonderful piece to work with, sturdy and precise, all my best for the makers.

fairly capable japanese plane. I should have read the ...
fairly capable japanese plane. I should have read the description much more closely, this is one tiny little plane.

Not worth the expense....
Really inexpensively build; the "dai" its not made of Japanese white oak. Also, the moth opening is way too big. It appears that is made of wood and will chip and blunt easily, even if used in soft woods. Not recommended for serious work!
