RF Circuit Design

Definitely not a beginner's book. I earned EE degrees many years ago but never covered RF design. So I have the background I need but still find this book challenging. I found a 1st edition solutions manual online which seems to be mostly complete and correct. Some new problems were added in the 2nd edition for which I have not found solutions. I find having solutions helps the individual who is working through this book using self study without taking a college class.A strong point of the book is the accompanying Matlab program files. With minor modifications I have been able to get the programs to work using Octave which of course is free to use.From what I can tell, the book's authors are highly respected professors and their vast knowledge of RF is reflected in this great book.

A well layed out and series work on designing RF circuits ... Not for begineers but anyone with previous electronic education and a desire to learn how to design functioning circuits. I am an electronics technician by trade and a series radio enthusiast...this book is in my often referenced shelf as I do design and build my own rf devices.

Again, some reference error, something supposed to be referred to appendix A, they indicated in reference B, it is harder to understand even where some equations come from, it is a very good text book, but not very practical, hope people can write books with two sections, one for fast build-up for work skills(on how to and why to use them), the other for theoretically improving(the explanation of design ideas and the theory of each key components of RF Design).

I got the book for a class, and it is good enough. Everything is well explained and with examples.

Pretty decent RF book. Easy read (for an engineering book), outlines all the necessary equations. I didn't use it much because my professor was so great though I didn't find it necessary.

I wondered why the cost was a small fraction of the US edition. Now I know.

I liked this book. Great introduction to RF circuit design. Not a complete reference, but gets you going. Enough for a semester for sure.

This book is not meant to be sold outside India. The paper quality is very poor. And the book I received had unclean cover.

E' un ottimo libro e corrisponde proprio a ciò che cercavo.E' in mio possesso da poco tempo per cui è impossibile che lo abbia già letto completamente.Ho dato una occhiata in generale che mi ha lasciato molto soddisfatto.Possiede un'ottima leggibilità e gli argomenti sono affrontati gradualmente e in modo dettagliato.Per la sua lettura è indispensabile una conoscenza pregressa di elettronica di analisi matematica.La conoscenza della teoria dei circuiti è di grande aiuto.Non è un libro per principianti.

This is a really good book. It is too expensive in my opinion but it is a very good reference for the basics of RF designs (and maybe a little bit more). I recommend it if you do not have any other book in your library.

It needs some time to work through and is not light reading, but probably one of the best to get all the facts in one place.
