Well made, but the lip is too small
The construction quality of these pots is pretty decent. However, like others have mentioned the lip on them is too small. Bought 3-3/4" net pots and they work fine at first, but as anything that goes into them gets bigger and heavier they fall into the reservoir. I didn't have this problem with some of the other brands that I've tried. They would probably work well for orchids or other gardening methods, but they don't work well enough in a DWC or similar hydroponic systems for me to recommend them.

Good pots but buyer beware
Good pots but buyer beware. If you plan on getting large plants you can't use a 5 inch hole saw, has to be smaller and jammed in. any wind or disturbance (outside obviously) knocks the plant into the res. The lips are tiny, not enough support against this, and now i'm screwed because i have a ton of these and none of the plants are safe from falling into my reservoirs. even with a large root ball stretching it out it's still an issue

These are good quality net pots.
Great quality item. I am using these for my larger sized orchids. I like that these slots are on the thinner side so as to not allow planting medium to fall through so easily. I have been using a medium size pine bark mixed with sphagnum moss and it is working out very well for my needs. I would buy these again. In fact, I hope to buy some more in the next size up when my orchids require transplanting to something larger.

be aware that there's barely any lip ~1/8" and is not sturdy like the Hydrofarm brand net cups
Works for my need but if you're looking to purchase this net for hydroponics, be aware that there's barely any lip ~1/8" and is not sturdy like the Hydrofarm brand net cups. It is pretty flimsy for hydroponic purpose but is okay if you use it as a pot liner for plants like orchids.

Used for a Self watering container system
Worked great as a way to make a self watering container for the flowers in my front walkway.

Great for "air-pot" as well as hydro gardening.
I line these with garden fabric to make an "air-pot". I use the "air pruning" method for the roots. I get he biggest, healthiest root ball ever on my plants. I have to be careful because the soil dries out much faster, but the additional work is well worth it.

ok
decent price but lip is very thin which makes it hard to stay within an opening

I'd recommend a 2 3/4" size hole saw or a jigsaw ...
Item is exactly as described 3" and can hold plants with a big root system (Bhut Jolokia & Carolina Reapear peppers and Red Brandywine tomatoes). If using a thick plastic lid, I'd recommend a 2 3/4" size hole saw or a jigsaw does the trick fairly easily as well.

Great quality pots at a fair price.
Good quality net pots. I use them for my "gutter garden". Search that term online and you'll learn how they fit into the garden. Great vegetables with this method.

Good price for the quantity
Great price for the quantity. works just as expected although it would be nice if it had a bigger lip on the edge so it stays in place better.
