Cheap and cheerful - does the job well
I recently purchased an Olympia Splendid 99 typewriter at a car boot sale for £3 which was in need of a new ribbon.The spindles that the ribbon spools sit on seem to be slightly larger on Olympia's than many other brands of typewriter. I took a slight risk by ordering this one as my model wasn't listed (presumably because this is a black only ribbon, but the Splendid 99 would have originally had a black/red ribbon) but it was cheap and as it turns out fits perfectly.The spools are plastic and about 2/3rds full. The ribbon itself is decently inked and gives a strong impression on the paper.A good purchase at a very reasonable price.

Generally use, they are good.
They are thinner then the old ones, but they are good. Easy to keep and store. As they are individually packed and sealed...
