Parkworld 691623 RV 50A 14-50P Replacement Male Power Assembly Plug with Handle

On initial instal one case screw stripped out without much tightening. Later opened to replace with different screw & stand off for another screw had brke off.poorly engineered

i didn't like the style the big box store had, this was a great looking plug and plastic seem durable time will tell. it's not water proof but it's more water resistance then most. Needs a better seal at the bottom for the cable.

Plastic housing is already cracked around the blades. And it clearly is labeled “indoor use only.” Not weatherproof by any means. Not acceptable for an item intended to be used outdoors. Getting returned.

This plug has multiple issues / problems... First, it is too small inside, to handle our 50 amp electrical wiring from our motor homes power cable. The 2 halves could not and would not come together. Number 2, The ground terminal plug is not round and it would not fit / go into the power pedestals 50 amp receptacle. Number 3, The plug also would not fit / go into our 50 amp surge protector. This is all due to the ground terminal be shaped like a " U " and not being round like other plugs...

The only thing better would be a plug molded on my cord at the factory. I’ve tried several different replacements for my 50A RV cable end and this is the best by far. I especially like the folding pull handle. Reduces the plug profile compared to others.

Could not find this at my local Big Box store. but y'all helped me find what I need.

RV plugs are designed to be used in a protected environment because the receptacles are protected from water. They have covers to keep them dry. This replacement plug is a good quality plug for use at the end of an RV power cord. It is well designed, tough and holds the cable securely.(Water-tight power cords are available for marine use. They connect and screw together sealing them water tight.)
