Michael Rosen 6 Book Sets (Fluff The Farting Fish, Bilal's Brilliant Bee, Don't Forget Tiggs, Burping Bertha, Barking Bagels, Choosing Crumble)

I use these witty books with emergent readers who are branching out into small novel-type books. The illustrations in black & white are great. Children get a good laugh out of me (teacher) saying the word fart/farting! This humour coupled with easy language eases the tension for children with reading difficulties.

I bought these for my granddaughter who’s 7/8 and a keen reader. Some of the books in this set have less text and more pictures and progress too more text per page and slightly less pictures.She loved the content and was happy to read the easier ones in the set by herself. The stories are funny and would be just as suitable for a parent to read to their child, chapter by chapter , or to help encourage reluctant readers to pick out words they recognise and then have the page read to then.Very pleased with this set of books and the price.
