2 Purchased, Neither Fit
I had purchased two these 1/2-Inch Drill Arbor Adapter for Buffing and Grinding Wheels (which arrived at separate times). Their intended use was for one of the adapters to thread into a sanding drum that fits a 1/2" 20 shaft, and the other to insert into the coupling of my wooden burnishing wheel.Neither of the arbor adapters I have purchased would thread into the sanding drum. And, only one of the adapters would fit into the coupler. I measured each adapter. One is slightly larger than the other. See attached photos.Why I could not thread either adapter into the sanding drum is beyond my understanding of bolts/threads because I have no problem threading it onto the 1/2" 20 shaft of my bench grinder. So, I'll be returning the adapter that was too big for both the drum and burnishing wheel, and I'll be keeping the one that fits the burnishing wheel.

Used with my dewalt drill and dewalt wire wheel 6" works great 😁 polished that knob like a person that REALLY needs $$ 🤣🤣🤯😉 😁 top quality part 😁 would deff buy again if needed

DO NOT BUY! RUNOUT AND CRAPPY CONSTRUCTION - threads are not standard!
The media could not be loaded. I agree with other reviews that this is shoddy manufacturing. The threads on this arbor adapter are NOT 1/2-20 fine as stated. So if you have a horizontal application like a buffing, cutting, or grinding wheel, you will NOT be able to add a locknut or nut at the shank to adjust distance from your tool. There is no threaded nut that matches this adapter other than the one that comes with it. Definitely shoddy dimension and tolerance on the threads. It also has a lot of runout so your wheel will wobble a lot.

Comes apart every time I use it
Every time I use it if I'm not carefull it will come apart when I release the trigger, no matter how tight you put it on!

It worked but!
While it will secure the 1/2 buffing disk and allow me to polish my rims. The securing nut scraped my rims until I taped over it. After that over site on my part it secured the buff and polish the rims to a mirror shine.

Exactly what I needed
There are few options for this product and as far as I can tell this is the best.
