I LOVE VERY AGGRESSIVE DOUBLE-BASS DRUM MUSIC. LIKE DEATH METAL, GORE, AND BLACK METAL SO DEVILDRIVER FELL RIGHT IN PLACE IN MY CD COLLECTION.

I have held off from buying DevilDrivers music, as I was a fan of the 1st coal chamber album. Frankly I thought the rest of the coal chamber catalog was horrible, there where only a few gems.At any rate because of the above fact, I have not purchased any DevilDriver till this. I heard the song Unlucky13 and I loved it. I figured I would take a chance and buy this album just for the one song. As it turns out, the WHOLE album is fill with all types of angst, anger everything else good. It doesn't sound anything like coal chamber so don't buy it if you want coal chamber.This album has enough karate to fill up your entire mouth.

I know what you're saying, it's been over a year and now they've released a new edition of the album that you bought a long time ago. Don't worry, the fury just got turned up. 6 bonus tracks: 2 cuts ( Unlucky 13, and Guilty As Sin) from the Fury Of Our Maker's Hand recording sessions, Digging Up The Corpses from the self-titled sessions (also available on the Resident Evil: Apocalypse soundtrack), and 3 killer live tracks (mixed by Andy Sneap). That's pretty much the icing on the cake. Plus, you get a bonus dvd with their 4 music videos. Would be better if it had more to offer, but the dvd is still cool. This is an excellent special edition to hold on to while the band is currently making their third album.

Para todo fan de Devil driver esinprescindible pero paralos que meramente solo les guste su música, solo tiene de interesante los temas nuevos, lo demas no hay nada ke valga la pena realmente.

Von Devildriver gibt es ja immer wieder eine ltd. Edition, wo Dokumentationen zum Album oder zur Bandhisorie darauf zu finden sind. Bei dieser Edition vom 2. Album der Band kann man dies allerdings noch nicht erwarten. Erstens gab es zur Geschichte zur Band noch nicht viel zu erzählen und zweitens entstand sie zu einem Zeitpunkt, als DVDs ähnlich wie Bonus Tracks lediglich als Kaufanreiz genutzt wurden. Daher findet man hier, allerdings in hervorragender Qualität, auch "nur" die bis dato entstandenen Videos: End Of The Line, Hold Back The Day, I Could Care Less und Nothing's Wrong?.Trotzdem ist dieses Special sehr gelungen, da zusätzlich noch 6!! Bonus Tracks: Unlucky 13, Guilty As Sin, Digging Up The Corpses, I Could Care Less (Live), Hold Back The Day (Live) und Ripped Apart (Live) zu hören sind. Während die drei Studioaufnahmen auch zum regulären Album gepasst hätten, Spiegeln die drei Livetracks die Dynamik der Band auf der Bühne sehr gut wieder und sind Soundtechnisch auch sehr gut abgemischt.Also insgesamt muss man sagen, dass sich diese Special Ed. für den "Jäger und Sammler" auf jeden Fall lohnt. Einziges Manko, und daher auch ein Stern weniger, stellt hier der Preis von 24,99 € dar, da es ähnliche Packs z.B. von Hypnos "Heretic Commando", mit wesentlich mehr Material auf der DVD 17,99 € kostet.Zu den Tracks der regulären Scheibe muss man nichts mehr sagen, die hört man sich am Besten mal an und weiß dann, wo der Hammer hängt!

We got "Beast" the fifth Devildriver album coming out in a month's time, What better opportunity to reflect and review on their arguably best album to date? "The fury of our makers hand" Remains an essential headbangers album and a milestone in metal brutality. And, putting it fairly and squarely "Fury" just about annihilates everything in it's path with virtually no slacking numbers to relent this whirlstorm of music. The single edition disc is now going for a bargain price here on amazon, and it is very much a shame this Limited edition release isn't more competitively priced alongside.What we have on this Limited edition is an extension of the studio standard version with three extra essential Devil driver songs. "Unlucky 13, Guilty as sin and Digging up the corpses" These fell short of making the standard release by not the greatest of margins i have heard, and not forgetting the next following bonus live songs "I could care less, Hold back the day and Ripped apart" which are confidently played. Where the value of this release evidently falls down is the poor utilization of the bonus DVD disc on this superlative double digipak issue, of which only contains four short videos for "End of the Line, Hold back the day, I could care less and Nothing's wrong" and then that's it? What?....... That's exactly what I thought, but great videos they are admittedly.Ultimately most people but the most dedicated and collective of Devildriver fan could feel very short changed by the price VS the extras of this item. I have laid out all the info of what exactly these extras are, but i don't think it's enough to sway many devildriver fans to buy this in exchange of their beloved standards. Personally, I bought this as I consider myself before the latter and found this a well presented release. Again the music is five stars, but this specific release gets four because no effort was made to increase the value buy-ability of this with possible live concerts, making's of or documentary inclusions. Not essential.

このバンド、海外メタルって番組で何度か観て気になって買いました。このバンド演奏がいいっすな、奇妙なリフもありスラッシュなリフもあり。演奏上手いです。只、ボーカルがガナリ過ぎかな。そこが良さともいえるんだろうけど…。ボーカルが嫌でたまにヘッドホンはずしちゃう時あります。因みに、PVはカッコいい!全4曲。 それだけでも買う価値ありかな。
