Pilot Pen MR Retro Pop Collection Fountain Pen, Turquoise Barrel With Dots Accent, Fine Nib, Black Ink (91436)

This is by far the most smooth (Fine Nib) pen that I have ever owned. I am a fountain pen enthusiast and I own various different brands like parker, Lamy, cross, waterman, Mont Blanc etc. This is my daily writer now and it is one hell of a workhorse. Only problem is the ink converter which is stock, you can't see the ink level in it. I ordered it from Amazon Global and it was delivered to me on Diwali. I use Lamy turquoise ink with ink which perfectly matches it's body colour. All in all an extremely worthy pen for the price and a must own for fountain pen lovers.

Great Pen at a really affordable cost.The fine nib glides on the paper and there is no lag in writing.The ink for is butter smooth and nib is super fine.Love this pen

Overall a good fountain pen. Excellent value for money. Fit and finish is top notch. The nib is size - FINE. And smooth.

The pen is fantastic , however a got one with some spot of paint removed at the bottom . So I didn't want to return to US again and waste my time . But this is the less expensive fountain pen with quality of performance as compared to many expensive pens in the market. Build quality and performance are of high degree.

This pen is such a treasure.. so beautiful to hold in hand..comes in fine nib, and black ink cartridge, and glides like butter on paper and hardly needs any pressure to write your thoughts.. The Red colour is a shade to die for. My first ever pilot metropolitan and I'm completely in love with her 😍😍

Es una muy buena pluma. No la mejor del mundo, pero sí muy buena. El cuerpo es de metal, por lo que puede ser un poco pesado, y el grip es más delgado que el cuerpo de la pluma, lo que quizá podría incomodar a algunas personas. El punto fino es bastante delgado, al ser Pilot una marca japonesa, lo que es de mi agrado ya qué yo tengo la letra muy pequeña . Fluye bien con todas las tintas con las que la he utilizado (Pilot Iroshizuku, Monteverde y Waterman). El convertidor incluido tiene excelente capacidad de tinta y es fácil de usar. La recomiendo si te estás decidiendo a comprar una pluma fuente pero aún no quieres comprometerte a una de mayor costo.

I have been using this pen for a couple months now and I am really enjoying it.- Came in a timely manner and in good condition.- The case it came in, with instructions for use and maintenance, was a nice touch by PILOT. Helps keep everything together in a classy, clean way.- This pen writes smoothly and ink flows well for a fine nib - not scratchy on the paper at all. There is minimal line variation (thick and thin) with different pressures, as expected. This should not be purchased with the intentions of using it for calligraphy or hand lettering, just handwriting/writing/drawing.- The colour of pen housing/body is accurate to photos - nice and bright teal/turquoise, and weighted well - it's aluminum, I believe, so it doesn't feel cheap in your hand. If teal isn't your colour, it comes in a lot more styles/colours to choose from!- If your prefer cartridges, buy some more (or cheat and buy a syringe to refill cartridges with the appropriate bottled ink), as it only comes with one cartridge. If you write/draw lots like me, you'll go through ink fairly quickly. I bought some Pilot Namiki Standard Pen Ink in Black (Pilot Namiki Standard Fountain Pen Ink, Black -69200) to refill the converter in this pen after using up the provided cartridge and it works just as it should. Be sure to buy the correct kind of ink (no pigments that will clog the feed).- This pen is SUPER EASY to fill (converter) and with minimal mess. Just compress the little vacuum converter a few times while in the ink bottle, remove from the ink, give it a quick wipe, and go.- The cap posts fairly well on the end of the pen, although it did fall off on me a couple times. It does not have a satisfying 'snap' on/off of the end of the pen to make you feel it will stay.- I recommend capping the pen between long periods of not using it, as it will dry out otherwise (just a good fountain pen practice).I have not experienced anything truly negative since using this pen (no leakage, no explosions). I would say that only the poor posting of the cap has been mildly uncool - otherwise, an excellent starter fountain pen (or even for experienced users) that will likely last a long time if taken care of properly (and it doesn't break the bank!)
