This watercolor set has one tube of white and 24 vibrant colors that can be mixed together to create a variety of tints, tones, shades and tertiary colors. The product is very economical and would be appropriate for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. I’ve been painting three days a week for the last ten months and still have a good deal of paint left. They also come in metallic colors which are very enjoyable to use for different effects. I highly recommend this product.

I was really excited to get my own watercolor set. I just took it out of the box and the hinges on the case are broke. So it will not be easy to travel with which is a bummer.

I paint with this on wood. I love how the colors pop and shine. You can layer colors. Easy clean=up. Being watercolor the texture of the wood underneath comes through adding more interest. FOR ME...I prefer this over acrylic paints because I can paint with more a complex range of colors. I can layer. Because the paint does not seal...I can get more complex design.
