Great compact size. Belt loop was helpful. We used it for crystal mining in Arkansas. The shovel section was perfect to dig in tight spots. The pick section was great for chipping away at large stone's. Easy to clean and put away in the pouch it came with. We ordered 2 however we will definitely have to order more for all family members to use.

I guess the price really was too good to be true. I used it to dig some plant holes in hard pack dirt. No rocks, just hard pack dirt. The pick axe head folded over on the first hole. This thing is thin aluminum, and does not work for its intended purpose. I was able to straighten it out pretty easily with some needle nose pliers, but I cannot trust it for digging in my native dirt anymore. If I use it again at all, I will have to pre-soak the dirt in water. What a waste. It looks cool, but I wouldn't recommend it for any serious digging

This is smaller than expected. Works well in the garden makes a hole large enough to slip some starts right into the garden. Watch for bent parts on arrival as I had to unbend the shove part on mine. Good tool for the money

Shovel is very light weight, perhaps suitable for digging soft dirt in a garden. Metal bends with moderate arm strength. Not suitable around rocks or roots.

Very useful during our camping trip. Used it to smother our fire and dig holes for going to the bathroom. Comes apart and compacts down into a small, light weight pouch. Definitely recommend.
