Rubies Captain Marvel Children's Deluxe Hero Suit, Small 700597, Blue/Red

I am a 5’2,” 115 lb adult. I ordered the child’s L captain marvel costume as many reviews said the adult S costume would be too big on me. The child’s L costume did fit. However it has built in shoulder pads and foam around the waist. I didn’t mind it if it was form fitting. However, I think it was made to fit as a sort of onsie for a child with an elastic waistband for the waist. When I pulled the pant part up so the inseam fit where it was supposed to the pants were highwaters on me. However if you are okay with the inseam sagging there are stirrups to go under your feet to hold the pants down. The whole child’s costume is made loose so I ended up keeping the adult S costume and taking it to get altered. The adult small costume is more stretchy and form fitting (instead of loose and onsie like). Either size you choose both are pretty great quality. You are getting both sides screenprinted. Unlike the party city version.

My 4 year old niece loved her costume. It was slightly big, but she'll grow into it. She immediately put it on and didn't want to take it off for bedtime. Halloween was a hit with this outfit. Everyone knew who she was.

Vibrant colors as depicted in ad pic. Mask/hat could use redesigning as it fits oddly. If weather is cold, costume is VERY ROOMY and can accommodated couple layers on my slim daughter. She had to cuff belt to fit. Overall, a well-made costume.

Super cute suit. Perfect fit for my 6 yr old. The mask that came with it has a whole on the top for their own hair to come out which I really liked. The mask fit great too. I wish they sold it separately as we lost ours and the replacement I did find from another seller wasn’t comparable!Overall we are very pleased with the costume!

I bought these costumes for our waiters on the Premier of Captain Marvel. They had no idea until the day of. The outfits fit them pretty well. They kept them warm. I adored them.I believe these would be true to size.

I purchased the Large. I am an adult who is 5'2" and I wear a size 2-0/XS-XXS in womens casual clothing. I decided to get a kid's costume, because the Rubie's adult sized costumes are usually tents on me. This was also a lot more affordable than the adult version. It was still a little baggy (especially in the waist), but the length was on par (sizing down would have made it too short). The costume itself is good, but the accessories (mask and "fanny pack" belt) were junk. Ended up not using the mask and bought a nice real Captain Marvel fanny pack for 10 dollars extra. I bought a dark blond wig and a plush Goose cat who has retractable tentacles to perfect this costume. A pair of black boots went just fine with the leg cuffs pulled over them. It was very fun for Halloween.

The quality of the fabric is really good and the design is good also the only no no is the sizes aren't accurate.

This was a gift for my 6 year old granddaughter. She’d recently seen The Captain Marvel movie and loved the costume. She wore it all day and stayed in character the entire time! It fit her perfectly!
