Disney Junior Fancy Nancy: Nancy's Ghostly Halloween

If I could return this book...I certainly would. I have been reading Fancy Nancy to my own grandchildren and to students for years. This is the first time I have encountered a story line that although some might think that it teaches Nancy a lesson on responsibility, "taking care of your sister" after losing her on Halloween....I was disappointed that Nancy's mother felt no need to accompany her own small children on Halloween night. Not the example that I expected and I believe that this is a direct result of the "line" being now owned by Disney. I have also noticed a similar trend with the new line of JoJo books being more cheeky in content. Just my personal thoughts~

Although cute, I prefer the less commercial original Fancy Nancy as does my granddaughter. It’s sad that Disney has changed Fancy Nancy and the syntax of he story line. She is no longer the same precocious little girl, but rather just another Disney character. I’m sorry Herve turned her into another money making Disney project.

What a wonderful story! I don't want to ruin anything, but a definite must read! My six year old daughter can't stop reading it!

My daughters and 6 and 4 - I am pretty sure they own most if not all the Fancy Nancy books. Nancy is a cute character, her family usually plays a good supportive role in the storyline and my favorite part of the stories would be the use of vocabulary. There are advanced words sprinkled throughout which I love as a teacher.

My daughter is a big Fancy Nancy fan and this book was the perfect addition to her book collection. Cute story with great illustrations. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my grand daughters, who are both fans of Nancy , they absolutely loved it . It has now become part of our Halloween collection !
