Nice brush but not for cats
My cats love this brush, it's very nice quality. The brush is kind of heavy, size is round and it's not very good handling, not for smaller animals, may be good for big dogs.

Good brush.
I replaced the old brush with this one for my cat.It is very easy to use and my sensitive cat didn't complaint a lot. I think it is a good brush.

Love this brush!
To date, this is the best and most durable pin brush that I have purchased. I have three, one for my dogs and two for my foster dogs. So far, I have lost only one pin unlike other pin brushes which lose oodles of pins within weeks. The pin pad does not collapse as it has on the many brushes on which I have wasted my money. Ergonomically, this brush is comfortable to use, easy to grip, and is not awkward or tiring on the hands. Like I said, I love this brush! (And so do my dogs. Call me crazy, but I test a brush on my scalp to see how it feels before using it on my dogs - I want brushing to be a pleasant experience. This is a brush I could use on myself. Believe me, I have dogs squeezing each other out to be the first one to get brushed when they see the brush.)

Too bad
I have a maltipoo and this catches in his hair . It has nice , soft, bristles that don't scratch but doesn't work for my maltipoo. Sorry it doesn't work because it doesn't scratch and irritate like most brushes.

Awesome for brushing a chow-chow dog
I used this pin brush on a chow-chow mix. His fur is a double-coat and the outer coat is about two inches long or slightly longer. It doesn't tangle easily, but this brush still removed a ton of fur. I am sorry I didn't own this brush sooner! I thought that using only a slicker brush would be enough to groom this dog. Then I read an article that said for chow-chows you should have a Greyhound comb and a pin brush in addition to a slicker brush. That was very good advice! I now use this pin brush before using the slicker brush and it makes grooming go by much faster. This particular pin brush seems to be a high-quality brush and I plan to use it for years to come!

Amazing!
I had no idea that not all dog brushes are created equal. I have an almost 6 year old West Highland Terrier. She is my first dog ever. I needed to get a new brush and picked this one by chance. My previous brush was so painful for her it was stressful to brush her. Even small tangles took forever. This brush gets all the tangles out with great speed and efficiency and she doesn't try to run away or cry anymore. Who knew a brush could make such a difference.

Effective without Hurting
This is the first brush that my standard poodle submits herself to willingly. It has longer bristles than your average wire brush, they are rounded at the ends so they do not hurt, and they are far more effective at getting the knots out of her ears, tail and top notch. It also has a very comfortable handle for the user.

great brush!
This brush works great for my miniature schnauzer and cocker spaniel. Brush is well-made, great price. The bristles are very soft and gentle.
