Awesome Product Don't Hesitate!
I was very skeptical before buying this product and even more so when I used it on my wall because it was barely noticeable. I followed instructions sanding the wall, primed it and applied the 3d4k paint. I did the application with high density foam rollers. I applied 3 coats and still had a bit leftover. I turned on my laser projector about 4 hours after the final coat and the results were immediately noticeable. The picture was MUCH clearer than it was before I applied the paint. After the wall had been dry for 24 hours and the paint fully cured I was amazed. It literally feels like you are looking through awindow to another world. When I game it feels like I can touch reach out and touch the characters. GREAT PRODUCT!!! I feel like I've been watching TV wrong my whole life and this is the way tv was meant to be enjoyed.

Perfect Projection Surface Paint
Ordered S1 Screen Plus Silver and painted the entire wall with two coats. We didn't want to do the traditional rectangle because the projection size and location changes a lot. Wall was sanded smooth. We were worried about the coverage of the paint so we did a light grey primer coat. Then we applied two coats of the screen paint. This paint is very watery, even after being mixed thoroughly. However, the final result is perfect! There is a lot more "blue hue" in the paint when it dries, and that worried me. I warmed up the tones just a little bit and raised the brightness a little as well on the projector and now we are very happy. Looks great! Highly recommend!

No regrets - It's special
Was skeptical, but now am convincedA few weeks ago I decided to pull the trigger on a DIY home theater project that I had been contemplating and researching for a while. There is an endless amount of DIY advice, videos, and demonstrations available on the Internet. I took advantage of free home theater consultation available through the big BB electronics store, albeit, a virtual consultation during the pandemic, and they were able to help me make my final decisions. One of the most difficult decisions was "screen" or "painted wall", and based on extensive research I decided on "painted wall". I had considered Behr Silver Screen paint, but the reviews were mixed. I knew that I didn't want to spend hundreds experimenting and applied the "you get what you pay for" logic. So I decided to go with "Paint On Screen Projector Screen Paint G005 (S1 Screen Plus Silver - Gallon)".The paint came in a well packaged box with a plastic ring protecting it from opening during shipment. I first primed the wall with Kilz white primer. When I went to the home store to buy the primer, I had them shake my paint well while I was there. I prepped my wall by knocking down the texture using 220 grit sandpaper and an orbital palm sander. Applied the primer using a 1/4 inch nap roller, waited over night, and then began applying the screen paint, also with a 1/4 inch nap roller. I went light and applied 3 coats with about 4 hours between each coat. I turned my projector on at various points of the process and with each coat, the picture became more stunning and my skepticism was replaced with satisfaction.I can't really put my finger on it or even explain it well with words, but there is something about this paint and its ingredients that make it worth the $. The picture is super sharp, very colorful, and I have no regrets. it reflects the image as it should.. Not too bright, not too dark. If I started over I would make the exact same purchase.

Plain white wall is much brighter, better looking
Painted this on and was surprised at how dark gray the color was. When projecting to it, the picture is noticeably more dark and muddy than the surrounding white wall. Did not make colors any better. Very disappointed for $250 a gallon paint, which performs far worse than just a screen of white latex.

Good product, worked for me
I used this product to paint screen size of 180 inches. I used the roller recommended. With some difficulty I was able to apply the paint (two quotes are must). Please follow the exact painting instructions, it is important. Quality is better than my original normal paint. Colors are more natural and it makes further difference on dark/night shots. Only reason three stars is difference in normal paint and this paint is not major. If you are looking for ultra-high quality then go for it. I have very high resolution/contrast, expensive projector and I like the best picture quality I can get. For me the money and effort this was worth spend.

Great product, bad order fulfillment.
I ordered the Gray PaintonScreen twice. Amazon delivered White each time. I contacted PaintonScreen direct. They sent me the Grey UST ALR. This stuff works. I can enjoy 3D movies on my living room wall.my advice: order it direct from the manufacturer.

This was a lot easier to install than a conventional screen
The picture looks great. The application of the paint was a bit tricky. I used a roller and noticed that touch up with a brush in a few spots produced a permanent spot. I used several coats (about 5) and made sure that only the roller was used, and put the brush away.

This paint is awesome - buy if you have a great projector. Otherwise, go with a lighter shade.
The 1 star reviews seem to be people who are very confused about the purpose of the product, and people who don't seem to understand how to apply paint. Shake the can extremely well for 10 minutes before even opening it. And don't buy this level 7 paint unless you have a really good projector and can control light in a room. I am using this with an Epson LS12000 in a room that I can, for the most part, black out. A projected image is only as dark as the screen, so if your projector has the contrast to handle it, this is WAAAY better than a white screen or surface. Terrific product if you choose not to have a screen. I've been very happy with it for almost two years.
