After reading the reviews we decided to purchase one of these for the dark nights, the size guide was good and after measuring our dog decided on the medium, however it was far to big even though he was the top end of the scaleWe bought the small which is perfect, and have a spare as well for when he growsUsed it so far and brilliant at night, we have the blue and yellow

Be careful with your measurements, I did it wrong and got the larger size, managed to adjust it so not too much of a problem. Very bright and sturdy, will be getting another one

Durable great you can recharge, red shines so bright can see a long distance, does come up bigger than measurements say, great adjustable length if too small, but a bit bulky if you have make small

Most of our walking is off lead (fields, woods, etc) so this collar means being able to see where he is when he goes racing off into the distance. It is great when it is pitch dark but also useful in fading light in the woods as his ginger coat blends in with the autumn colours.I just use it as an additional collar to save having to swap name tags or get another one. It sits above or below his normal collar quite happily. I use it on its brightest setting and walks may be up to 2hrs but have never had it die on me.Not sure if it is meant to be waterproof, but it has survived a biblical downpour and a swim in a duck pond. It stop working once when water got in but after drying it out at home it is all fine.My only gripe is that the charging socket is a bit loose and the exposed loop of wire is not suitably protected so is losing its insulation, probably due to boisterous dogs playing. That bit needs a redesign.The collar is not lit all the way round but the heavier unlit part sits under his chin so that is fine. If he is pointing away from me with his head down I lose sight of the LEDs but otherwise visibility is very good. If you get an unpopular colour (e.g. orange) you won't see many other dogs with that colour so yours is easier to spot in the dark. I see lots of blues and greens about. Probably brighter than other collars I have seen out and about.

Works well and just the right width for a tracker to be fitted.

My dog is a rough coat border collie, and now that more of her coat is coming through, unfortunately the light cannot always get through her fur! When it does it is truly wonderful, can pick her out from a distance, and the light doesn't need to be recharged regularly, I recharge it once every four days, which normally means it is on for eight hours before it needs a recharge, and even then that's normally just because I want to be safe, not because it has shown signs of running low!The collar is also easy to dismantle, the screw in the back is a little small so does take some getting used to (I screwed and unscrewed it several times to get used to it), it doesn't need dismantling to charge which is great, the only times I have needed to dismantle it have been when the little terror has dropped into fox poo and the collar needs a thoroughly good washing!Great product, I've recommended it to several dog owner friends!

only half collar lights so needs to be on top of neck - does not take standard mini usb - very odd design - controls hidden and cannot be seen to usea very odd and badly designed collar albeit compact

I should have measured my dog first as the medium is HUGE!!! I’ve always bought our spaniel a medium in everything without any problems, this could go round her neck twice! It’s also quite bulky so really hard to make smaller.
