Not a strong espresso, I'd guess a 5 on the Nepresso rating scale.
I really liked the idea of this coffee, low acid, higher antioxadant levels, etc. However, it is way too bland for me. I like the Nespresso coffees that are strong, a level 8 or higher (Risretto, Indrya, Darkahn, Kazaar, etc.) So for me this just doesn't work out. However, if you like a less intense coffee you may think these are great. So for me, I'm still on the hunt for a good, strong nespresso size pod, preferably sustainably sourced and organic - we'll see how it goes....

I was recommended this espresso by a chef friend who discovered it at the SOBE Wine and Food Festival. It's a spectacular espresso - reminds me of coffee I had in San Jose, Costa Rica. After reading the background on the product, makes sense why this is so, since they use roasting learned from coffee growers. A nice discovery!

Awful smell. Could not drink. More expensive than original Nespresso
I gave this 1 star, because you can't write a review with any less. It's more expensive than original Nespresso capsules, but I purchased with a 40% off coupon made it marginally cheaper and worth a try. These are made plastic and not aluminum like the original capsules. The capsules are packaged in portioned air tight packaging, so I speculate the capsules do not retain freshness after the outer packs are opened.I ran 1 capsule though my machine. It seamed to work correctly, but the smell was awful and had a weird toxic chemical like smell.I don't know it was from the coffee or the plastic capsule. The smell was so strong and unnatural, it masked the aroma of coffee and I could not even bring myself to even taste it.When looking at the used capsule, I saw some fine ground coffee leaking from the punctured top and think this will affect your machines performance with prolonged use of these capsules (like the Keurig problems when using k-cup alternatives and adapters)Stick to the original Nespresso. There's no benefit in cost or quality.

Works with my Nespresso Inissia, but not a good flavor for me
Was looking for a more affordable alternative to Nespresso coffees and decide to try this one out. Works fine with my Nespresso Inissia, but unfortunately it's a coffee which is not to my taste; it has a 'rubbery' rather than a rich roast flavor, not something I've ever figured out how to recognize from coffee descriptions. It's tolerable in latte's, i.e. diluted down, but not a flavor / roast that I like much. It's a shame as I liked the concept and origin of this coffee, but I acknowledge I may have bought the wrong coffee for my personal taste.

Good alternative to nespresso
Would have to say that I like it! Not as delicious as the Nespresso, but i got this a an "add on" item, so it was extra inexpensive! A good alternative to the luxury nespresso. Works just like a charm and had no issues in my machine. I liked it better over ice. Nice roast flavor without much acidity. Would order again. Some of the alternatives to the Nespresso pods clog up my machine or don't work that well, but these worked great.

Low quality but reasonable for the latte if on a budget
We found this brand to be bitter and lacking in richness. It was our first time moving away from nespresso brand (admittedly, we don't like all of their pods either but they do have some good ones) and I suppose you get what you pay for.We won't buy again.

Works perfect in my Nespresso machine and it give the same delicious taste that I get on my other espresso machines using Puroast coffe. I use this one when I want a stronger espresso, otherwise I use the Panadero capsules.

plastic + bad burnt smell
I drink Puroast regualrly, I buy the K cups and the bagged coffee. I was excited to try this. However, it gives off a horrid burnt smell, and the plastic capsules leave a brownish burnt mark on my machine. I don't think they have quite figured out the plastic replacement for the foil that Nespresso uses.

Worst coffee ever.
Coffee was bland and lacked flavor. Looked and tasted like dirty water. Threw out half the box. I am a coffee lover. This isn't coffee.
