We bought a new home in Indiana which has a pond with a waterfall. The pump stopped working and was not repairable, others want up to $400.00 for a new pump we opted to try this one because it seemed to have all we needed. It works great !! So quiet and it moves the water around enough so that the algae doesn't collect on the rocks at the bottom of the pond. Very Happy !!

I use this pump to run the waterfall in my fish pond which runs 24/7 . It’s extremely reliable. I’ve come home to find almost no water getting into the skimmer and the pump sucking more air than water but still going strong.This is the only pump I will buy for the pond. It runs 24/7 for years at a time. I’ve never had one just stop. They have only failed when the water got cut off and the pump ran dry for a period of time, heated up and burned out (requires water for cooling). I always replace with the same pump because I know I won’t have any problems.

My last one lasted two years: not as long as the warranty but my setup entails a lot of debris in the lower pond. So far, after 20 years with my pond, this is the only pump that has lasted more than a year. If this one last as long, will definitely buy again.

The pump failed within 2 weeks. Attempted to return to Webb Garden and they refused to replace it.This distributor does not stand by their word.

Running 24/7 for a year now and doing well. Has run dry once or twice and survived that well. Pretty happy with it. Though the DC pumps are getting more and more powerful and seem nearly twice as efficient (flow rate per watt)!

Powerful and efficient mag-drive pump that does not require any oil. I use them for a 27' head-height stream and waterfall. Although sold under a number of different names, I think they are all made by the same company in China, unfortunately. But a good product. Make sure to use plastic cage base if there is leaf debris, especially if it is oriented in the vertical position (impeller site downward). Depending on what size outflow PVC pipe is used, the step-up adapters may not work. But any PVC vendor (Home Depot, Lowes, etc. has adapters that will work.

Very pleased with this unit. Good movement of water. Easy to install. The only thing you should add to your description of the unit is that the remote control device that regulates the water flow is not included in the purchase of the pump. You talk about the remote control, but it is not "in the box". We had to contact the manufacturer and then a supplier to purchase the remote control separately. Was minimal charge but the buyer should know it is not included with the purchase.

This pump performs well. I run mine continuously for months. That said, heed the warnings and do not run it dry. I accidently let my sump run dry and quickly had to use my 'Order Again' function here on Amazon! I have now added a feeder hose and a float valve to maintain my pond level above the pump intake and the pump and runs happily (and continuously) without me screwing it up.
