hitachi 16 gauge trim gun and works great on ladders. I hade to modify the plastic case cut it out so it will fit, but it is so nice to hook it to your paints or your tool pouch

The threads are pretty long, so do not try to screw it all the way in or it will crack the end cap of your nailer. I had to remove the red thread sealant for it to fit my Metabo 16 gauge, it was just a little too tight with the sealant. I also had to cut out a small portion of the plastic for it to fit into the Metabo case ( see pics), but not much more than a silver dollar size. I bought the 1" and wish I would of got the 1 3/4". I can still use the 1 inch to hook onto my tool belt or jeans pocket, but thats about it. Its not deep enough to hook onto a ladder, 2x4,and etc. Quality seems good. Bought two, one for my 16gauge and the other for my 18 gauge. I might get the 1 3/4 for my framing nailer and 15 gauge.

Solid Metal bracket, works perfect on my heavy air frame nailer. Highly recommend it.

I guess you could hang it on your tool belt and pull your pants down, but it's too tight for a 2x4 which is why I bought it. I bend it open with some channel locks and now it looks like crap but it does work. Oh well, live and learn!

Ive Used one of these before on a trim gun and dont remember how it preformed, but I would have remembered if it had been too much of an issue.I installed this one on my Hitachi Fence/Siding nailer (65AH2) w/ a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer - using a healthy amount of teflon tape and some umph. However, right off the bat it was leaking air - in fact it did not stop leaking unless it was held in just the right spot and completely still. Although the leak was coming from the ball joint/swivel I went ahead and tried it with a different adapter on a different hose to no avail. I initiated the refund process and had a new one within maybe 2-3 days and still need to ship the other one back. That is neither here nor there, the point is, the new one has the same issue - dont get me wrong, it works fine in every other capacity, the hook is really for puttin on your belt or pocket for a moment and is very handy - though with a coil nailer that means it isnt really possible to get it out of the way of your hand but its not too bad. But it is annoying to hear the constant hiss and have the compressor run out of air if you dont have it plugged in and leave the gun on the hose.

Fits perfectly with the 1/4 fitting on my framing nailer, seems like a good product so far.

The first time working good but hook itself sitting on the plastic nunts that with time maybe can change its greatnest.

The media could not be loaded. Great idea, but the hook moves way too easy on the fitting. It should be firm enough to stay where you set it, but it moves under its own weight. Before clipping on you have to set the position, and as it wears and gets looser it’s going to be a PITA to use. There’s no way to tighten, it just rides on a loose fitting o-ring between the fitting nut and a snap ring. The description and pictures make it appear to be fixed in place.

Finally got tired of having to spend more than 100 dollars to buy a new nail gun as it falls when being used at high height. Get this it help save you keep more money in your pocket as it prevents nail guns from falling.
