Q: How long is this vest?

Just around waist line and isn't tapered. I also have one with hood and it has tapered bottom , like it really well. Be sure to use their sizing chart. Both are nice vests.

Q: How warm is this vest? It looks thin

Very warm. Not thin at all. Has a little bit of weight to it actually. It does say "insulated" in the description. Sizes run a little big. Had to exchange my large for a medium. I'm very happy with mine.

The outer shell is made of 100% cotton, inner lining is made of 100% polyester. And insulation is made of 100% artificial cotton (or polyester).
