No issues.
I read a lot of people having issues with figment in the reviews but most all of them seemed to be because this wasn’t the correct one of their application. This fit on our little 08 lancer without any problems. Didn’t break or crack although it may be prone to if you get rough. Also, it matched the car and looked like it was supposed to be there. I’m happy with it. Not too many other options out there for this particular application.

Great dash kit, very good looking
This is a very good dash kit. It looks nice, fits my 2x DIN radio nicely, and fits *almost* perfectly - the top right is slightly higher than it should be, but you wouldn't notice it if you weren't looking for it. The included cable harness was wired correctly and each wire is even labeled - nice touch!A couple idiosyncrasies of the Lancer radio wiring itself to be aware of - these are not issues with the dash kit or the cable harness, but tips for installing it. Note this is for a 2009 Lancer DE:1. The Lancer's radio harness does not have an ACC wire (the one that only gets 12V when the ignition key is turned). The harness that comes with this dash kit has that wire, but the Lancer does not. You have to hook the radio's ACC wire into something like the cigarette lighter circuit. I did this with a fuse extender from the fusebox.2. The Lancer's radio harness does not have a ground wire. I just hooked onto the metal frame around the radio.3. The OEM dash has a little connector for the passenger airbag warning light that aftermarket radios will not support.

EVO/RALLIART OWNERS, Take a look at this before buying, could save you A LOT of headache
Okay, So there are a lot of people who are not educated on this wiring harness situation so I am going to explain. I recently bought this for my 2010 Ralliart. As you can see there are lots of reviews of people complaining that the wiring harness doesn't work. This is not entirely true. This all depends on your Lancer. So, some Ralliarts, and most EVOs have a built in AMP for your sound system from Rockford Fosgate. The harness that comes with this kit is for NON Amplified Lancers. Meaning, that your car does not have the Rockford amp pre-built in. If your system does not have this build in Amp; when you install this, you can completely ignore the 2nd plug outlet behind your radio. There are 3 plugs total, but only 2 will be plugged into your stock radio. But the 1 plug that fits this harness is all you need, meaning.. This harness does work.IF YOUR SYSTEM IS AMPLIFIED: If your system is amplified then you will need a special wiring harness called the Axxess MITO-02 Wiring Interface. This runs around 100$ USD online and is the only way to install an after market system in your ride if its amplified. A lot of local audio shops understand this inconvenience and try to charge around 180-200$ for this if they do have it. Save your money now and just order it with this kit or be patient enough to wait after realizing this and wait for it to come in the mail.Hopefully this can help you plan ahead and order everything at the same time so you aren't having to wait a bunch of extra time after the rude awaking of you don't have the right harness to do the job after you get everything taken apart. The best ways to find out if your EVO/Ralliart is amplified is:There will be a very visible AMP under the driver side seat. This is the best way to tell if you have it or not or usually will come with the Sub in the trunk.Review on the actual product:In my case, I didn't have an amplified system and everything went great. The radio I bought did not have a proper mounting bracket hole set up for it to fit right in nicely so I had to do some "modifications"(bending my mounting brackets) lol.. to make it fit. But luckily I was able to make it look nice. The mount its self fit in quite nicely but doesn't look 100% flush. Its pretty damn close. I'm gonna say 95% because in my case the top part is a little lower than my dash to it leaves a very tiny un-even point where they meet but seriously, its not a big deal. I'm giving this a 4 star because I believe a 5 star is a PERFECT product. Which this is not. But it is pretty damn close!I hope the information on this was helpful to you all! Good luck follow Lancer Lovers.

Good fit and finish
Out of all of the dash kits for a Mitsubishi Lancer I think this one is the best. It fits very well, the finish is nice and matches the dash. The wiring harness is a bonus especially at this price point. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't come with any brackets but I reused the ones from the stock radio.

Overall fast shipping good service no complaints
Fit good enough could have me would need other adapter for steering wheel controls to work but that's okay I'll order that next. Will say you need some experience at least to put in this dash kit because you have to take a lot of part to get it in please have some experience before you try this.

Worked perfect
No idea why Lancers do not have a simple mount kit, but this worked perfect. You will need to mount your new radio with the mounting brackets from the old radio. The vent fins will need removed from the old mount and transferred to the new one.
